Last day, while me and my family were having dinner together, my dad said "tooked!", and i was watching him like "What are you saying?" "Isn't that the past simple of took?" and i started to cringe even more. I answered "no..." and he said "Then what is it?".
I was like "dad wtf that's not why i go to a high school specializing in modern languages"
"Dad, took is the past simple of take" and he was pissed at me.
