First off before I go off on a rant, I would like to thank every single person who has mailed me or skype’d me about getting shops. I appreciate that you all took your time and congratulated me (or even begged me for a design xD). This blog is basically answering all you guys question to Danny and I: Are you competing?

To start off to say, I loved that Randomize had removed the whole carryover glitch, as it was getting a bit ridiculous and completely unfair. I understand that the three advancing shops wanted to advance for the next round, but it was a bit unfair what they did to other shop owners. However, Randomize removing the carryover has created a whole new game play for advancing shop owners. When Danny and I got a shop, we were pressured to compete in shops. Many reasons were that they didn’t like the shop owner, that they wanted ‘fresh faces’, or even that they would make designs for us, until they get a shop and we give up our spot. Now, I did bid on shops to gift to friends, but honestly, Rando removing the carryover has made me rethink my decision, and I realize that I have a huge potential to compete, since I have people willing to buy my designs and such. To finalize my decision, I really had to just approach other shop owners and see what their decision was:

Danny – I talked to Danny, and he told me to talk to advance shop designers. The only thing making him compete was if they weren’t going to post designs at 500T.

Ian– He was waiting for others to post first. He really didn’t mind lowering design sales, as it was a bit unfair that people couldn’t buy designs for 500T. BUT, he did say, that he would be forced to others did it too :(

Matty – I approached him asking him that if he would lower T’s on designs, and also that Ian was willing to do it. He also agree that he had intensions to lowering his designs, but again, the only person not wanting him to do it was Phillys, (glad that we dropped our pity drama, btw!).

Brendon – Brendon and I are great friends, so he flat out told me that he isn’t competing. Here is what I think why: Phillys must’ve told him that it would be pointless for us newcomers to compete, because he would post at 500T and depend on the tie. Apparently to Phillys, the tie depended on who would have had the shops longer.
Note: Keep in mind that designs can only sell at 500T or higher, so if everyone was to post at 500T and all sell their designs, then it would depend on the tie to see who advances.

So I was in a pickle, obviously Phillys was told by Brendon that I was thinking of competing, so he did what really showed me his true character, and posted at 500T’s. Philly had knew that if it had resulted in a tie, then the shops advancing to next round are the ones that had the most value (A.K.A. The shops that made it through to this round).

So to answers EVERYONES question, I am NOT competing this week. I would also speak on behalf of Danny, as well (Don’t hold my word on it though! :O). I will be having a 1T sale. But don’t fret! Sometime during this week, I would be hosting the BIGGEST charity giveaway Tengaged has ever faced :D! Sorry to everyone that was rooting for me, but if Phillys posts a high design, everyone has to.

To people hoping to get shops: Shops has a dictating government going on, atm. I recommend anyone who gets a shop to do 1T sale! If you have the enough T’s (Via you or friends) and want to compete though, give it a shot (I would be happy to buy a design from your shop, so mail me if you are going to)! But, before you do that, I urge everyone to mail Randomize and tell him to change how ties are decided in shops! I hope one day that I see someone that can take out Phillys, and to whomever, you have my support 100%! Also if you are in the decision of trying to competing, I will recommended talking to Matty and Ian, as they are actually nice people, and would love a friendly competition. Lastly, the only way I see someone new advancing to the next round, is if someone that one of the shop owners are holding a spot for gets a shop.

Here are my thoughts about you Phillys – A while back when you posted your blog that you were getting rid of carryover, I praised you for it. I blocked out every negative comment towards you and still thought you were a good person. A few weeks gone by, and I realize you were a hypocrite; you started posting carryover designs (after the fact you had promise to get rid of it). I still was rooting for you after that though because I just thought that you would stop doing it in a matter of time. Obviously, I was wrong. It caused Randomize to officially take it away for you to stop using it. But, this week showed me your true character: Cockiness, Arrogance and GREED. The fact that you are allowing NO ONE to compete, just shows that you are pathetic. To make it literally IMPOSSIBLE for people to compete, makes me think real different of you. And to the people that are helping this dude advance (by buying his 500T designs), I hope you are happy supporting a dictator.
I actually took the time to read this. I agree with it 100 percent. I was always talking about how he said that he was going to lower carryover and make designs that normal levels can buy. GO QUEEF! <3 +11
agreed. i dont see the point of competiting (this goes to phillies, ian, matty too). why compete when you have to post stocks for 500t and for what, 60t for making it to the next round (or something like that)
as evidenced by your interaction with stars this week, you very clearly understand that the point of playing a game on tengaged is to win.
re: my blog......that was a while ago.... and the betting system, especially through charity and milestone games has DRAMATICALLY improved the well-bring of the tengaged economy. I tried posting at low prices and the same people bought them every week. That wasn't the best way to distribute designs throughout tengaged.
i didn't hear from or tell BB any of that. my first indication that you were considering competing was when you posted in the pollbox that you knocked me out of stars and now will knock me out of shops in the same week.
you should compete, maybe me, matty or ian all won't be able to sell 30 stock 500 T$. i got in cause gaga & pink made mistakes or didn't sell...... if you take the risk, maybe you can too !

Queef this blog is awesome and I couldnt agree more. Im trying to learn how to design and wont compete til I have enough of my own custom designs to do so, but im glad you,are opening peoples eyes to this.

It shows alot when designers who the site WANT to have a shop can't compete cause of the current owners and how they run their shops... its just a shambles, lets hope that this carryover removal changes things
yep, i called this when all you guys were supporting him and his BS (which at the time seemed to have been more about gaga's shop then anything really).
you all actually believed phillies was going to help change things ... but a lot of us knew the truth ... we only got a new dictator in town, in this game we are paralleling US global politics ; replace a bad thing with another bad thing (that we choose) , an endlessly flawed system that always bites back.
grats tengaged, our pettiness has just spurned a new shop mafia.
and we should all know by now, if you put power into the hands of a Frankenstein monster , there's bound to be a bunny ( or many ) that gets strangled.
but you know , the easiest way to take action ourselves (rather then waiting another 6 months to a year for Rando to pay attention again) and its fairly simple.

dude, i do know him, didnt i make that clear when i said "he helps with a lot of stuff like challenges in rookies/survivor, he has helped me with betting, he tells me all about the shops"? We have a group chat on skype, and every time i log in we talk... if you didnt come at him from the start you would see he is nice too... i hate this
