Leli's Survivor, 20 Memorable Moments: 15-11 Jul 20, 2015: Here are five more moments from my series. Moments 15-11.

15. THE FLAG FIGHT (S11, SURVIVOR: PATAGONIA)

During the second Immunity Challenge in Patagonia, the two tribes were tasked with creating two flags each. While Rosario sailed through the challenge, the Lacar tribe ran into some trouble. After Ronnie ( JBC8) had submitted the first flag, Natalie ( OhNatalie) had agreed to do the second, but when her flag got turned down by a few members of the tribe, no one else took responsibility for making the second flag... until Ray ( Ilikebugs) decided to get involved. With 30 minutes left of the challenge, Ray went to work on the second flag and just two minutes before deadline, he submitted Lacar's second flag. And... well... I'll let you guys be the judge: http://oi59.tinypic.com/2uqk741.jpg .... The flag scored a total of 6/40 points, sending Lacar to Tribal Council. Ronnie and Julian ( TheSexiestDude990) stated up front that Ray should go home because of his flag, but Ray wasn't about to go down without a fight, and instead threw Natalie under the bus for not submitting her flag, as was the original plan. Natalie, who was not about to get voted out in 15th place, then went on the attack, which led to a 88-post long thread about flags (seriously, try counting how many the word 'flag' is said in that thread). Ultimately Ray went home for his poor performance on his flag, but later returned to compete in Survivor: Uganda - Second Chances.

14. THE DYSFUNCTIONAL BIG HERO 6 ALLIANCE (S20, SURVIVOR: SAINT CROIX - HEROES VS. VILLAINS)

Aw, things started out so nice when the six all stars JB, Ethan, Natalie, Ashlyn, Iris and Nick ( _JB_ , Ethan000 , OhNatalie , AshlynArehart , EternalBlossom and NJKoda1998) decided to team up in the early days of Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains. While things worked out great for all six of them pre-merge, things really started to heat up later in the game, when it seemed like the alliance was about to blow up at any second... And so it did, when the Heroes decided to come together to target the biggest jury-threat Ashlyn, which ended in another dramatic Tribal Council (121 posts, this one) with Ashlyn calling people out left and right. But the fun obviously didn't end there... More betrayals was to come the following Tribal Councils with Ethan and JB's eliminations. What is kind of ironic though is that while this group was incredibly dysfunctional, the alliance stuck for a long while, and three of the people within the alliance made final three. It's one of my favorite alliances of the series, simply because it was so "star-studded" and because every single person in that alliance could care less about the others. This alliance was nothing personal. Just business.

13. CLAIR ENTERS THE GAME (S14, SURVIVOR: KIRIBATI)

Of all the characters and personalities seen in the series, Clair ( haycsclair) is probably one of the most unique in that she 100% sees herself as a hero, but has no problem making villanous moves. In Survivor: Kiribati, I introduced a twist that allowed contestants to enter the game at later stages in the game instead of having all contestants enter on day 1. The last contestant to enter the game was Clair on day 17. She was given two Immunity necklaces to give to two other contestants, and Clair treated that decision like it was her life-calling, interrogating everyone who tried to talk to her about giving them the necklaces, calling people out publicly if they said something she didn't consider to be true. This quickly made her target no. 1. EVERYONE wanted her out, especially day 1 players Ollie ( MrPokeguy9) and Paul ( Survivorgame1). It was quite fun watching the players who had been in the game since the beginning, and who had thought they had figured the twist out, just be completely blindsided by Clair's way of doing things and getting extremely frustrated with her. Despite all this, Clair actually ended up getting all the way to third place, outlasting both Ollie and Paul.

12. PORSCHE THROWS HANNAH A FAKE BIRTHDAY (S13, SURVIVOR: UGANDA - SECOND CHANCES)

This is one of the funnier things to happen in the series. When we got down to the final five in Second Chances, I posted the Plus and Minus challenge, where your objective is to get as close to 20 as possible WITHOUT going over (http://www.tengaged.com/blog/Leli14/5112887/who-should-win-immunity-and-who-shouldnt ). Porsche ( porschefan101), knowing that her or Hannah (#xoHannaHxo) was next on the chopping block, saw that it was looking like Hannah was about to win Immunity, as she was closest to 20 points, decided to take matters into her own hands, by spamming people and telling them to plus Hannah, because it was her birthday, so that Hannah would get more than 20 points and not win Immunity. And it worked! Hannah ended up getting 25 points, and Porsche ended at 17, giving her Immunity. The two of them received 5th and 4th place that season.

11. DONO: HIDDEN IMMUNITY IDOL MAGNET (S10, SURVIVOR: SAINT CROIX - FRIENDS VS. ENEMIES)

Just missing out on a spot in the top 10 is one of the more controversial moments, that saw Dono ( donosaurus_rex) finding up to three Idols in the same season. Now two of them he found himself, and one of them his best friend Matt G. ( GiGi10) found and gave to Dono. This resulted in Dono being pretty invincible for much of the game. When he didn't have Immunity, he could always play an Idol. His Idol plays were especially frustrating to the opposing alliance consisting of Sean ( Renegade628), Ryan ( KidA) and future winner of Survivor: Socotra, Shadi ( Chastain), who at several Tribal Councils tried to oust Dono. First pre-merge, where all except two votes went to Dono, but after he played his Idol, Ashley went home instead (see: moment no. 19). Again post-merge they found a golden opportunity to get rid of Dono, but once again Dono played an Idol negating six votes against him and eliminating Sean from the game. There were definitely some talk of me rigging the game for Dono along the way, but honestly Dono was just good at finding those things (plus he had some allies who he always coordinated guesses with). But this has led me to hide Idols on Tengaged blogs from now on so that the first person to find the right blog, finds the Idol, so that I won't be accused of stuff like that again.

Leli's Survivor, 20 Memorable Moments: 20-16 Jul 18, 2015: Alright, as promised I will post the 20-16 most memorable moments from the series today.

A few things to note about this list:
- Each moment may not relate to one particular incident (like a purple rock draw, or an Idol play). It may be something that happened over a season or even over several seasons.
- While there have been 20 seasons and I'm about to list 20 memorable moments, it does not mean that each season is represented on the list. Some seasons may have more than one moment on the list!
- Moments 20-11 will only have a short write-up. I'll explain what each moment was, but not get into further detail as to why I liked it or what the moment spoke to overall. Moments 10-1 will have longer write-ups.

Okay, without further ado, here are moments 20-16...

20. STONER'S DOMINANCE (S19, SURVIVOR: CONGO)

If you should point to a season where the winner was determined pretty much from day 1, Survivor: Congo would be it. I personally thought Stoner (#Gaiaphage) would be an early target for being a group game legend, but he was able to overcome this obstacle by playing the hardest out of everyone and having a great social game, finding Idols and winning several individual Immunity Challenges. And after 21 seasons, he is still the only player in the history of the series to play a perfect game (not get any votes cast against, and getting all-jury votes).

19. ASHLEY'S BAD LUCK (S10, SURVIVOR: PERU - FRIENDS VS. ENEMIES)

Some call it being dumb, I choose to call it bad luck. Somehow Ashley ( BigBruv) has managed to get banned three times and get voted out all three times because of it in three seasons of the series. Three times a pre-merge boot. Two times one of the last two people to be voted out before the merge and one time Idoled out. Now some probably don't understand why I've had her back two times after getting banned the first time, but Ashley is great entertainment... when she's not banned, that is.

18. THE MONAGAS MELTDOWN (S3, SURVIVOR: VENEZUELA)

The first tribe in the series to fall completely apart (but not the last!). This was a season with three starting tribes with six players on each tribe. And with the third Tribal Council being a double Tribal Council, it only took six days for four of the tribes six members to be out of the game in 18th, 17th, 16th and 15th place. Among them returning player Yoshi ( yoshi9999) (first returning player ever to get voted out of the series). The two remaining Monagas members, Danielle ( Snowgirl57) and Missy ( Missalice3) eventually made it to the merge on new tribes, and have since returned to the series in future seasons. So something good did come out of this lovely mess.

17. WILL CAN'T GET ENOUGH OF DUOS (S16, SURVIVOR: SOCOTRA - TRIAL OF TRUST)

Season sixteen, Survivor: Socotra, started with ten returning players entering the game with a partner they chose themselves. Sean ( Renegade628) entered the game with Will ( CK11), and after getting off to a bad start where Sean was the first person voted out, Will managed to stay alive until the merge by playing a really solid strategic game (that also earned him a spot in Heroes vs. Villains). After the merge Will found himself in a position of power, but at an auction Will saw an opportunity to stir the pot once again by activating a duo-twist linking all contestants to another contestant chosen by random.org. This immediately made Will a target, and it didn't help that he got linked to current target no. 1; Rob ( robulusjgreisonne). And with that, Will and Rob were swiftly voted out at Tribal Council, sending both of them to jury.

16. REDEMPTION FOR ETHAN (S12, SURVIVOR: COMORO ISLANDS)

After being the third person voted out of the game, Ethan ( Ethan000) found himself stuck on Redemption Island, and with 9 duels standing in his way of re-entering the game, things weren't looking very good. But once Ethan got to Redemption Island he hit the ground running and never looked back, winning nine straight duels, ousting eleven other contestants, and ultimately returning to the game, winning over the jury he had time to get to know on Redemption Island. It was an impressive thing to watch, and it's also why he was later asked to participate in Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains.

20 Memorable Moments from 20 Seasons Jul 16, 2015: Hey everyone.

In a (late) celebration of Leli's Survivor Series finishing it's 20th season, I have cooked up a list of 20 memorable moments from the first 20 seasons of the series. This list is completely my opinions alone. I have made a top 20, and will over the next few days count down all twenty of them, starting with 20-16 tomorrow.

Survivor: Uzbekistan, Cast Reveal Jun 20, 2015: In just four days the 21st season of my Survivor series will premiere. It's going to be a great season with some new blood and a few familiar faces to spice things up. I'm really excited about this season!

Again, I'd like to say sorry to the people that I did not cast. There were 30 applicants and only 15 were chosen. If you weren't chosen it probably had to do with a combination of not being very well known on Tengaged and not having a good application. If you're a well known figure on Tengaged, then an application doesn't mean as much to me because I already know who you are. But if you haven't been on Tengaged for very long, then the application is super important. That's your one chance for me to get to know you. And again, only half of you made it, so I also had to cut some great people! Hopefully I'll see you back at another point!
