-Episode 8-
The episode starts with the camera panning onto the highway then onto a birds eye view of the survivors, everyone is looking tired, hungry and exhausted. It pans onto each one of the their faces, the last face is Daniel's who is pale and extremely tired.
Holdyn: can we please take a break
Henry: no we have to keep going, the CDC is only a couple more miles
Sierra: but were all tired
Henry: and once we get to the CDC we can rest
Iris stop infront of Henry and stops him and everyone
Iris: and what if the we get to the CDC and it's overrun and we have to defend ourselves, we will all be too tired, we're stopping now!
Henry: and who gave you the right to make that decision?
Chris: the whole group Henry...
Henry turns around and glares at Chris, then at everyone else
Henry: fine we can rest, let's go over to that building
The group walk over to a couple of building just off the highway and rest in the shade of the buildings. Holdyn and Chris help Daniel to lay down as Sue sits next to him and takes care of him as the other survivors sit and start to get some snacks out of their bags
Henry: everyone don't go overboard on eating cause what you have is what you get until we get more supplies
Iris: guys just have enough so you have energy for the CDC
Henry: Iris can we have a word
Iris rolls her eyes as she walks with Henry away from the group. The camera stays with the other survivors
Chris: how are you feeling Daniel
Daniel: still feel like crap but I'm managing
Sue: your doing fine Daniel, don't worry
Daniel: no need to save your pity on me guys, I already know what's gonna happen
Chris: what do you mean
Daniel: I'm not gonna make it to the CDC
Holdyn: don't think like that Daniek
Chris: he's right Daniel...
Daniel: no but I know I won't, we all what's going to happen
Sue: just be strong dear
Daniel: oh no I am being strong, I just want to ask a favour
Sue: and that is?
Daniel looks directly at Chris
Daniel: when the time comes, don't let me become one of those things
Chris nods
Chris: I won't I promise
Chris and Holdyn look away from Daniel and Sue and walk along the path a bit, Sierra notices this.
-End Of Scene-
The camera pans onto Henry and Iris who have walked behind the building.
Henry: who do you think you are
Iris: Iris Sinclair, next question
Henry: do you think your the leader of this group
Iris: I think I'm looking out for everyone here
Henry: but did I ask you to do that
Iris: did I ask for your approval
Henry: well you should since I am the leader here
Iris: and who made you leader huh!
Henry: everyone did when no one would step up to take charge
Iris: and you think your charge is what this group needs
Henry goes to answer just Iris stops him
Iris: this group need respect, they work off one another, they didn't ask for a Donald Trump 2.0 in this apocalypse
Henry: excuse you?
Iris: no excuse you, I'm letting you know right now I'm here for these people and you better start acting like it too
Henry steps towards Iris and gets in her face
Henry: I know what I'm doing and if I were you, I'd check yourself in line or else you'll be the one in trouble
Iris: if that's what you think, but just remember one thing
Henry: and that would be
Iris: you don't know anything about me or where i came from, I'd be careful of that
Iris walks away and heads back to the group, Henry stands there looking angry as his hands curl up into a fist.
-End Of Scene-
The camera pans to Chris and Holdyn who are sitting on a bench just up the trail, they are eating and drinking some of their supplies and looking out on the view of the city that has now become a wasteland.
Holdyn: so how are you holding up right now?
Chris: Im coping...
Holdyn: I can see that I don't know how you are
Chris: because I need too, for myself, for everyone here, for everyone that's gone
Holdyn: can I ask what it was like for you before the apocalypse?
Chris: not gonna lie tough, I mean I pretty had all the bad stuff happen to me with coming out, parents not accepting, bullied constantly
Holdyn: I'm sorry to hear that
Chris: I'm not because with all this happening, it made me realise how strong of person I have been all my life and I am now
Holdyn: so what do you think is gonna happen with Daniel
Chris: what we all know will happen, but I just have to do the favour he asked to do
Holdyn: and you think you can do it?
Chris: yes, because he believes I can so I have to for him
They both sit there are a moment silent
Chris: you know it's moment like this that I miss about the world ending
Holdyn: what do you mean?
Chris: just sitting and looking out on the world and reflecting and cantering yourself
Holdyn: wow I didn't realise someone could be that deep and meaningful
Chris: it comes with struggle.....thank you
Holdyn: for what?
Chris: being here and listening, it's nice to have someone I can relate to in some way who gets it
Holdyn: well in this new world we all relate in some way, but don't worry I'll always be here for you when you need it
Both of them smile at each other and laugh as the camera pans back to see Sierra spying on them, she starts to get emotional and starts to hold back the tears when she hears footsteps coming from behind her, she turns to see Sue just behind her looking at her.
Sue: I'd suggest you go back to the group
Sierra: why?
Sue: because I'm about to call them over to head back down and I don't think you wanna be sat hiding in the bushes now do you know
Sierra: yeah I guess so
Sierra gets them and starts to head back down the trail
Sue: Sierra!
Sierra: yeah....
Sue: im not gonna tell a soul don't worry
Sierra: thank you...
Sue: however
Sierra: what?
Sue: were going to have to have a conversation ok
Sierra: ok
Sue watches Sierra walk back down the trail as she turns back to look over at Holdyn and Chris
Sue: boys, everyone's getting ready to head off now, lets move
Chris: ok Sue on our way
Sue looks as the two boys grab their stuff smiling, she smiles as she watches them and then turns around to see Sierra still looking, her smiling expression quickly vanishes as she walks back down the trail.
-End Of Scene-
Back with the rest of the survivors, they are all getting ready to move as Sue is making her way to the group.
Henry: come on guys hurry up, lets go
Madison: hold on Henry, still waiting on the others
Henry: Christ sake, where are they
Sue: the boys are just coming now
Henry: thank god, alright gang lets move
Suddenly they hear car noises from the distance
Madison: anyone else here that
Iris: yep, quickly everyone behind the building
As everyone goes behind the building, two cars go past, then suddenly stop and drive back to the buildings. Iris looks around the corner to see the bandana men coming out of their vehicles with their guns in hand.
Iris: shit!
Henry: what's wrong?
Iris: its the bandana men
Madison: who?
Sierra: there's group of guys we've seen a couple of times
Madison: I'm guessing their not friendly
Iris: well we don't know we haven't spoken to them face to face but by the looks of this, they don't seem friendly
Sue: oh no
Henry: what now Sue
Sue: Chris and Holdyn are still heading back from the trail
Iris: Madison, you think you can sneak up that trail to get them
Madison: yeah, I think so
Henry: that's not your decision to make
Iris: not the time Henry
Henry: Maddie, go get the boys, we're gonna need them to fight
As Madison starts heading up the trail via the bushes the group remain behind the building
Iris: we are not fighting them
Henry: yet but if shit goes down we might need too
Suddenly a voice is heard
???: hello.....come on out, we saw you hide back there
Iris whispers: stand silent
???: come on now, we saw you two ladies run, don't make us come back there and get ya ourselves
The group start to whisper
Henry: what are gonna do
Iris: he thinks two girls ran back here
Henry: so two girls are gonna have to talk to the,
Iris: what are you stupid?
Sierra: I'll go
Iris: what?
Sue: not on your own your not
Sierra gets up and heads round the corner as Sue quickly stands up and follows her, Iris goes to get up and run after them but Henry and Tisha grab her and pull her back as Iris tries to break free
Henry: let them deal with it Iris, they'll be fine
The camera pans round the corner to see Sierra and Sue in front of the men
???: well, well, well what are a couple of fine ladies like yourselves doing out here in the apocalypse by yourselves?
Sierra: me and....my mom were heading south to look for anywhere to stay
???: oh were you now
Sue: yes we were and we don't mean any harm...
???: oh I know you don't because I know you couldn't harm us
Sue: oh really?
???: look at the numbers sweetie, I know we both know you could cause harm here
Sierra: well what do you want
???: well if just so happens we have a base build up just up the road
Sue: where?
???: oh just in that big old building up ahead
Sue: the CDC
???: and bingo was there name-o, don't worry we got some other people there helping us out, so I guess you can come join us there for now
Sierra: were good thanks
Sue: Sierra I don't think that was an invitation
???: and she won't be right, now both of you can get into the back of that car nicely or we can move you by force your choice
Sue: fine....
Sierra: but Sue
Sue: Sierra....lets go, we will be fine, I hope let the, hurt you
The girls follow the men into the car as the other survivors look on in fear, Sue and Sierra get in the cars and look over at the group as they drive off with the men towards the CDC. The group run towards the run as they all start to panic, suddenly Madison, Chris and Holdyn run back down the trail returning to the others.
Chris: what happened?
Holdyn: and where is Sierra and Sue?
Iris: they got taken away
Chris: what, by who?
Iris: the men in bandana
Holdyn: the guys from before?
Henry: yep and we have to go save them
Madison: what about the CDC?
Iris: funny you should ask
Henry: that's where their taking them, that's the men's base and by the sound of things, they have more people there too
Holdyn: well what are we waiting for let's go
Tisha: um guys....
The group turn around to see Tisha holding onto Daniel who looks extremely pale now and is coughing up blood
Tisha: Daniel can't make that
Iris: what are we going to do
Henry: the only thing we can do
Henry gets out his gun as Chris runs over to him
Chris: no don't!
Henry: don't stop me boy
Holdyn: no Henry, he isn't stopping you
Chris: Daniel wanted me too
Henry: well then hurry up and get it over with
Chris sits next to Daniel and Tisha as Daniel coughs up more blood.
Daniel: thank you...
Chris: I'm sorry
Daniel: don't be sorry......just survive and kick some ass
Daniel closes his eyes and takes no more breath as his slowly passes away and dies. Chris pulls out his knife as he starts to tear up along with Tisha
Tisha: you can do this
Chris: I know
Tisha: he believes in you
Chris takes a deep breath can goes to stab Daniel in the head but stops at the last moment as he stops and puts the knife down, Holdyn walks and stands next to him
Holdyn: you ok
Chris: yeah I'm fine, I just need a minu.....
Suddenly a knife goes through Daniel's head, everyone looks like shock as Henry pulls his knife out of Daniel's head, puts it back in his pocket and starts to walk off. Chris' tears goes has he starts to get angry
Holdyn: Chris?
Tisha: are you ok?
Chris: YOU ARSEHOLE
Chris gets up and goes straight towards Henry
Henry: we had to get moving and you were....
Henry's sentence is not interrupted as Chris punches him in the face as Henry stumbles a bit. Holdyn and Madison restrain Chris as Henry goes to pull his gun out Iris grabs on Henry
Iris: Henry don't you dare
Henry: I DID YOU A FAVOUR, YOU WERE BEING A PUSSY!
Chris: AND YOU THINK YOU HAD THE RIGHT TOO
Henry: YEAH! Actually I do
Iris: put your gun down now!
Chris: WELL YOU DIDNT DO ONE THING!
Madison: Chris calm down!
Henry: and what was THAT!
Chris: show him any respect or mercy!
They both glare right at each other, Henry puts his gun back in his pocket and looks at the group.
Henry: lets just get moving....
Henry walks away as the others look over at Chris
Holdyn: are you o....
Chris: I'm fine
Tisha: he had no rig....
Chris: no he didn't
Madison: Chris?
Chris: let's just keep going, save Sierra and Sue and most importantly survive
Chris looks over at Tisha and Holdyn as Holdyn hugs him, Chris takes a deep breath as he and the rest of the group grab their bags and start walking to the CDC
-End Of Scene-
The camera pans into the back of the bandana men's car where Sue and Sierra are in the back with another men with them. Sierra looks over to Sue and starts whispering
Sierra: Come on then Sue what's the plan
Sue: we go with them to the CDC
Sierra: are you serious! What about the others?
Sue: they will follow don't worry, we just need to see what is going on with this place
Sierra: what if they or the place is dangerous
Sue: then we run
Sierra: what about your ankle?
Sue: don't you worry about my ankle, just focus on staying safe
Sierra nods as they drive into the CDC and the cars stop, as al the men get out and usher the girls to get out and follow them through the building.
Sue: so are we allowed to know who you are and what is exactly going on here
???: my names on a need to know basis so for now call me sir and this place, well you know what the CDC was about before the apocalypse so need I explain
Sierra: wait so the scientists are still alive?
Sir: most of them are, obviously some didn't make it but oh well
Sue: so.....sir, what exactly are you doing are
Sir: that my dear is simply, making sure those brainheads find a cure for all this shit
As they walk past a door, they hear banging coming from it
Sir: some tests didn't work
They work past another door where the banging is louder and faster with screams being heard. Sue and Sierra look at each other worried
Sir: and some made things worse
Sue: so what are we doing here?
Sir: you haven't figured that out yet
Sierra: I think I've just clicked on
Sir: smart girl, but I'll explain anyway, your our latest test subjects
Sue: shocker
Sir: and your going to stay in here for now until your wanted
The men push Sierra and Sue into a sealed tiny room and lock the door
Sir: have a nice stay ladies
Sue and Sierra look on in fear as they watch the men look away and they start hearing the sounds of screaming and loud bangs.
-End Of Scene-
The camera pans over to the other survivors as they walk along the highway, Henry and Iris are leading the way with Madison, and Tisha infront and Chris and Holdyn are at the back looking ahead
Holdyn: hey Chris are you sure your ok?
Chris: would you believe if I said yes
Holdyn: obviously not
Chris: at least your smart not too
Holdyn: I understand why your mad
Chris: he just no right to do that, Daniel at least deserved mercy for what he had done for us all
Holdyn: don't worry I agree with you, Henry doesn't understand the term respect
Chris: I can see that, I just don't get why we've let him take the role of leader
Holdyn: I think everyone is starting to agree
Holdyn holds onto Chris' hand
Holdyn: just know after we've got Sierra and Sue, we need to sort out what happens with this group
Chris: agreed, lets just hope we can get the girls back.
Suddenly they see Henry stop and speak
Henry: looks like we're here
The group look over to see the CDC right by them, the camera pans over to look at group who are ready to get their girls. The camera then pans to Sue and Sierra who are sitting in their cell looking wondered as talking walk past, the screen then goes to black as gunshots and screams are heard.

Thoughts on Iris and Henry's conversation? Iris is obviously a better leader than Henry and he is feeling threatened by her. He is such a coward, but as Maggie Greene says "They are more dangerous"
Thoughts on Chris and Holdyn's conversation? They will be a couple. I can smell it.
Why was Sierra spying on them? She wanted to see if they are going to kiss and she is jealous basically.

What are the bandana men planning and thoughts on Sir? OMG! The whole CDC thing has so much potential! I mean with these experiments, there could be super walkers - faster, stronger, smarter, tougher to kill and all kinds of improvements. I can't wait!

Any storyline predictions? I feel like Iris will come under fire, not only from the CDC people, but her own group too once her secret goes out into the open.
Death Predictions? Sadly, I think Iris is going to die in the finale. Once she is exposed, she will be exiled from the group via death, and Henry will be the one to kill her. I also think Sue is going to die as a test subject.
