My favorite song of his EP! I loved the build to the chorus and especially loved the chorus. I think Benson really proved himself with this EP and I was very pleased with all the songs he released. I like his overall production and I hope to god he gets exposure in 2024!

Billie Eilish - What Was I Made For?
I think the real reason this song is just so damn good is the fact the Barbie soundtrack was very poppy and very upbeat. When you think of Barbie you rarely think of a sad song. I think this scene in the movie with the flashbacks of people playing with Barbie and having this song was just very touching and moving. This was a powerful movement and I think this was a great entry.

I think this was the first entry in the countdown this year. When this came out it was such a bop. I listened to this a good amount and I just knew from the first listen it would make my countdown just was not sure how high. Luckily for Mimi she gets to the top 10 again and she had a wonderful 2023!

Such a bop. Kelly really gave us that church chorus kind of vibe for this song. I also LOVED the tempo change for this, Kelly songs usually never mess with that. I really enjoyed this divorce rant. Kelly really gave us that breakup song we needed from her and she delivered.

I must say I think this was Olivia's best vocals shes had on a song. She really had so much pressure to deliver this year. I think this lead single choice was a great choice. i love the bridge and the change in pace and I think the guts theme with the vampire lead single really helped Olivia get some great traction for this album.

Ahh the cinematic masterpiece that is this EP. This opener was so raw, so real, and Kelsea really just opened up and let us in with these 6 songs. This was the moment her marriage was over for her, when her husband just stopped showing her any love. This woman slayed with this opener and I am not shocked this was my 2nd most played song this year.
