I mean truly what a year for Miley. Easily the first 2-3 months was just this song dominating the charts. I mean she really had a great lead single and I love that for her. The way this parallels that one Bruno Mars song too was quite iconic I can't lie. I am truly not really that much of a Miley fan but I give credit when credit is due.

AMELIA. MWAH MWAH. God love the new princess of pop. Mimi honestly did not miss with her new album. She gives a bop after bop to jam to. I think for her debut album I had very little to complain about as I enjoyed the tracks a lot. This was just a fun jam and I am so happy she released it.

Kelly's ex husband was definitely the inspiration for this album. The line of Piece by Piece I found out my hero is me.... get him Kelly. That man tried to take every damn thing from her so that ultimate lyric snub for the song that was so popular for him being the father to her kids that she never had to now it is her line for herself... genius. Kelly is just an outstanding human and deserved a top 20 entry for this track.

Maren Morris - The Tree
I am so proud to be a stan of Maren more than any other artist I have been a fan from their early days. Maren legit has stood up for so many rights and her leaving country music was just so powerful to me and I LOVED the way she did it in this song. After seeing Jason Aldean's god awful song get to number 1 and seeing him and his wife celebrating... god nothing was worse to see. Maren has actively spoke up against the gross agenda that him and his wife spread and I could not be more proud of the woman Maren is. I cannot wait to see what comes of her genre change and I love her for this.

This track was not something I thought I was gonna like. The ah ah ah part initially had me like wtf is this. But I can't lie by the chorus I began to like it more and more. A lot of people used it for a song on Tik Tok and the more and more I listened the more it grew on me. I think this was the appropriate choice for the lead of the 6 songs.

Benson is back with another banger. His EP Pulse provided 5 great songs tbh and he rightfully scores another spot on the countdown! This song had a nice smooth pop vibe to it. I love his voice and he really just makes some interesting sounding songs to me and I think he is very underrated compared to other similar sounding artists.

Now I will be the first to say this is not much of a Speak Now track but I think maybe if it was just her singing it, I could see it cause it parallels a little to Sparks Fly... slightly. Ahh this is giving me Daddy Lessons by Beyonce. The western vibe I loved. The chorus was a great upbeat tune and I think we all wanted some great breakup bops from Kelly on this album and this was one of them. Leigh Anne ft Arya Starr
AHHH I am so proud of girl for debuting. Obviously being a MIXER I am so excited for all of their debuts from the group. I LOVED watching Leigh Anne shine this year. This song is such a nice sound and it really taps into her afrobeat vibe she wants to pursue. THE MUSIC video was also so cute and not low budget at all. I love her continuing from her previous music video and I feel like she really is putting a production on. I am so proud of this track for her and I cannot wait for her full length album. THIS Music video was probs my fav all year.. the dramatic pause oof I loved it.
