A crop of 20 brand new chefs were brought out to Los Angeles to begin battling for a Head Chef position in Gordon Ramsayโs new restaurant, Le Repas Rose. They were told to meet Chef Ramsay in the prize restaurant itself to begin their first challenge. They cooked their signature dishes in hopes of leaving a good first impression on Chef Ramsay.
Many of the chefโs signature dishes underperformed, with standout disasters belonging to Marge and on the Red Team and Rico on the Blue Team. However, two perfect scores were given to Tristenโs spicy chicken and Keniaโs pork ribs. In the end, the women ended up winning the challenge after Carter and Zachโs dishes ruined the menโs chances. The men were left to clean up while the women enjoyed a tour of Los Angeles.
The next day, the chefs were brought into the dining room and told that the winners of the next challenge would receive punishment passes. The challenge was to create a stunning gourmet pizza. However, Chef Ramsay also stated the chef with the worst pizza could be going home. With this news, the chefs were left in paranoia over whether or not their teams would lose a member before the first dinner service even begins.

The Blue Team makes almost no time deciding on their nominees. They say that Jude messed up the most on the fish station and that Bart held them back on the garnish station. While they both attempt to claim that someone from the meat station should also go up, everyone else agrees to nominate Jude and Bart.
The red team has a more difficult time deciding who should go up for elimination. Savannah says that Julie screwed her over on hot apps tonight. She says her nominees are Julie and Kenia, with Kenia being nominated because of her mistakes making new york strips. Lexie argues that Kitty should go up because she sunk on the fish station. Bella says she nominates Kitty and Thammy, Thammy because of her poor performance on meat. The nominees seem to be between Julie, Thammy, Kenia and Kitty. Eventually, the team comes to a majority decision.
