Upon returning to camp, Jeremy congratulated Sarah, Spencer and Ciera for being on the right side of the numbers, and admitted that it had at least resulted in an entertaining Tribal Council. Spencer thanked Jeremy for being understanding and promised that he would not make things awkward around camp. The next morning, Brad and Jeremy agreed to keep hope alive as they had an idol between the two of them, which if played right would keep them both safe at the next vote. Sarah and Spencer had also gone on a walk, both laughing in shock as it had finally hit them how crazy last night's Tribal Council truly was. They agreed that they had nothing to worry about and that Ciera was trustworthy. However, Ciera claimed in her confessional that she was willing to keep the entire tribe on their toes, reminding the viewers that she had a history of flipping, and that nothing was ever certain in Survivor.
At Otuhaka, Tasha had admitted to having overnight pondered over Kass's reaction to their argument last day, and that she had no real problem with Kass. Tasha confronted Kass as to whether her public confrontation was real or just for strategy purposes. Kass told Tasha that she (Tasha) did not handle the situation well and that it was initially her (Tasha's) fault for having ignored her. Tasha, fed up, told Kass that she would be the first person voted off their tribe any ways and that she did not care what Kass thought. Tasha later admitted in a confessional that she was willing to work with Kass but had realized that working with Kass was a near impossible task.
At Kolovai, Vytas and Katie had woken early to talk strategy. Vytas brought up a plan to approach Tony and Trish about the formation of an alliance between the four them as both him and Katie and Tony/Trish were clear pairs that had preexisting targets on their backs. Vytas confronted Tony with the plan, and despite having agreed to the alliance, Tony later told the camera that he had no intention on playing with Vytas.
Back at Monotapu, Brad thought of an idea in order to get Ciera to flip. Brad told Jeremy about the possibility of them showing Ciera their idol in order for her to flip. Jeremy was hesitant but realized it was the only way as the chances of Sarah/Spencer turning on Ciera were slim. Jeremy had wandered off into the jungle with Ciera, where he proceeded to show her the idol. Ciera was initially shocked but had later admitted that she wasn't too surprised. Jeremy warned Ciera that if she didn't promise to vote with him and Brad, that she would be in danger of going home. Ciera later laughed his words off in a confessional saying that Jeremy was in no position to threaten her and that the idol ordeal had made her want to stick with Sarah and Spencer that much more.
Back at Otuhaka, Jaclyn wandered off into the jungle and had read her idol clue in seclusion, realizing that most of the tribe did not have the Hidden Immunity Idol on their minds. Jaclyn continued to look for the idol, and to her surprise, found it by the river. Jaclyn begun to jump up and down, and proceeded to name her idol 'Jon', announcing to the camera that she was going to win the game for him.
Kolovai and Monotapu won immunity, sending Otuhaka to Tribal Council.
At Otuhaka, Tasha and LJ held a meeting with Hayden and Jaclyn where they all agreed that Kass was the most logical vote. LJ admitted his frustration over Kass's animosity toward Tasha, and that they had no choice but to vote Kass out.
Kass joined Jaclyn later that day at the beach to say her "farewells". However, Kass was not done playing yet. Kass told Jaclyn that if they voted her (Kass) out tonight, they would be handing Tasha and LJ the game. Kass reminded Jaclyn that Tasha had connections on the other tribes, whereas she had none and would remain a target for the remainder of the game. Jaclyn agreed with Kass's remarks and that she did not have enough of a personal relationship with either Tasha or LJ to blindly follow them, but that Kass's fate hinged on what Hayden had wanted, as Keith would likely do whatever she (Jaclyn) told him.
Kass proceeded to make the same arguments to Hayden in that they had the numbers to overthrow Tasha and LJ. Hayden told Kass that he did not buy her disdain toward her old Cagayan tribemates and questioned whether Kass would work with other Cagayan players such as Spencer and Tony later in the game. Kass reasoned with Hayden that if those were his fears, it did not negate Tasha as a bigger threat than her, and Tasha’s relationships with Spencer and likely Tony as stronger than hers post-Cagayan.
Jaclyn and Hayden later met up to discuss their decision. Jaclyn, to her own surprise admitted that she felt more comfortable with Kass than either Tasha or LJ. Hayden called Kass over, where they swore allegiance if they went through with the plan to stick together. Hayden asked Kass who she was comfortable voting, with Kass replying "Tasha".
Kass later admitted her desire to vote Tasha was completely personal. "Tasha always claimed I had played personally. It was never personal. I don't play based off my emotions. But if you're going to make it personal, let me return the favour."
As the tribe was preparing to leave for Tribal Council, Jaclyn was still unsure about her decision. Kass received the final confessional stating that if she goes home tonight, she at least shook up Tasha's game.
TRIBAL COUNCIL
At Tribal Council, Jeff asked Kass about whether the tribe gelled. Kass replied that nearly everyone seemed to gel with the exception of her and Tasha. Tasha retaliated and the girls went back and forth. Tasha was upfront about her initial desire to work with Kass but that their relationship had been strained early on and that it would have been a mistake to trust her. Kass emphasized that if she stayed in the game, the target would remain on her back. Jaclyn nervously looked at Hayden, and the tribe voted.
Maxi1234 yeah I only included people from 3 seasons lmao which in hindsight I regret as I would have expanded the field all the way down to Nicaragua but I had done this season on BrantSteele first before thinking about writing a story and I didn't want to redesign the cast as I was really hope with the overall BrantSteele result (placement wise)
Nice episode. When I looked at that tribe at first, I definitely thought Kass would be first out but I like the twist of her actually using her brain and being a character at the same time. Why do I feel like Keith may slide through the game again lol. I feel like it's going to be another big season for Tony and Trish in this too. I really like the roles the players have had so far so keep it up :)
