this season sucks. the twists are overcomplicated and unnecessary, and the editing is garbage. there is no coherent story or narrative shaping up at all. erika went from being a complete nonentity to the literal most important person in the game. like why am I supposed to care about her? this season is just so bad and each week has actually bored me. I'd like to think the merge will be better but I think jeff is completely in over his head and will continue tainting this season with bullshit twists and advantages.
I agree- way too complicated. And a non-elimination episode is beyond boring. But I don’t think Erika is that important. I want her to be important but she only gets to decide who is safe for 1 round. That isn’t going to have much of an impact. Just another stupid twist
No one is going to be like-“ oh thank you, Erika, I owe you my life!” They’re just going to see it as it is: a random curveball where Erika has to decide which “group” she likes best, it isn’t a personal favor for anyone she saves
