Otuhaka returned to camp without saying much. The next morning, Keith had made it clear he was glad that Tasha was gone as she had made little to no effort getting to know him. Kass boasted in a confessional about proving wrong everyone who thought she would be the definite first boot upon entering another season but that she managed to single-handedly take Tasha out, proclaiming herself the "new queen of Survivor".
Jaclyn and Hayden met in the water reiterating their deal and agreeing that keeping Kass was the better option for keeping the target off their backs. They shook hands and agreed to use their connections from past seasons to enlarge their alliance come a swap or merge. Kass joined them and proclaimed that she would stick with any alliance they proposed in the future as the chances of past Cagayan players working with her would now be slim. Meanwhile, LJ sat in the shelter questioning his position in the game and coming to the conclusion that the only way he can stay in the game is if his tribe wins Immunity.
At Kolovai, Natalie and Josh sat around the fire as Tony entered, followed by a long period of awkward silence. "Basically, nobody on this tribe, with possibly the exception of Trish likes Tony", Natalie proclaimed in a confessional. After Tony left into the jungle, Natalie and Josh reiterated their thoughts on how paranoid Tony truly was and that he was a "hot mess" given that his antics (such as the spy shack) could no longer work on an All-Stars season. However, Josh entertained the thought of keeping Tony and Trish over Vytas and Katie who were in the long run, "lesser threats", whereas the target would remain on Tony. However, both Natalie and Josh agreed that their tribe was strong and they did not need to worry about Tribal Council.
Meanwhile, Trish and Vytas walked through the jungle toward tree-mail together, with Vytas warning Trish about Tony's paranoia turning off the tribe, and thus hurting Trish in the process. Trish agreed but later claimed, "Who do you think you are trying to turn me against my closest ally?" in a confessional. "As far as I'm concerned, Vytas can't be trusted."
At Monotapu, Ciera read tree-mail to the tribe, who were excited and pumped for a reward challenge.
The three tribes arrived at their reward challenge.
Both Kolovai and Monotapu got to see the new Otuhaka tribe, shocked at Tasha's elimination. Kass smirked at the other tribe's reactions as Sarah whispered, "How is she still here?".
The tribes participated in a reward challenge where Kolovai finished in first winning a deluxe fishing kit. Monotapu finished in second receiving a smaller fishing kit. Otuhaka lost and were left with nothing.
After the challenge, Kolovai were stoked about their newly won fishing gear but Tony privately stated that his wheels were always turning and that there was likely to be a second clue to the hidden Immunity Idol placed in the fishing kit. As the tribe were by the fire, Tony quickly rummaged through the fishing kit and quickly pulled out a clue, stuffing it into his pants. The camera zoomed in on a cross-armed Vytas who saw the whole thing go down.
"You going to share that with the tribe, Tony?", Vytas exclaimed. The tribe looked confused. Tony and Vytas had a brief back and forth before Vytas explained that he saw Tony pull out a clue to the hidden Immunity idol. "I thought we were in an alliance Vytas, and you call me out like that?", Tony exclaimed in a sarcastic tone. "That's right, Vytas asked me for an alliance!", Tony shouted to a surprised Natalie and Josh.
"You snooze, you loose", Tony proclaimed as he walked toward the beach.
"This cannot be good", Katie later said in a confessional, worrying about how the outburst between Tony and Vytas may affect her game. Vytas immediately regretted his decision to call out Tony but stated in a confessional that hopefully Tony's outburst had shown the tribe that he was impulsive and not to be trusted.
At Monotapu, Brad went fishing with their limited won supply of fishing line and lures. Meanwhile, Sarah, Spencer and Ciera were talking in the shelter. Sarah had wondered whether either of the boys (Brad or Jeremy) had an idol, with Spencer reiterating that their next Tribal Council would be important in the fact that they were required to vote correctly or risk one of them going home. Ciera sat quietly and agreed, stating in a confessional that she knew about Jeremy's idol but had decided not to share the information with neither Sarah nor Spencer.
The tribes then arrived to their next Immunity Challenge
Kolovai and Otuhaka won Immunity, sending a distraught Monotapu to their second Tribal Council.
Back at Monotapu, Brad admitted his frustration toward having lost the challenge, and that him and Jeremy were in deep trouble. Sarah, Spencer and Ciera met up and agreed to vote out Brad, because if an Idol had been found, it would have likely been found by Jeremy who received the initial clue who if anything would play it on himself rather than Brad to definitely ensure his safety.
Brad and Jeremy met up in the jungle, where Jeremy pulled out his idol. "What are we going to do?", Jeremy questioned. Brad continued to bring up Ciera as the swing vote, entertaining the possibility of them handing over Ciera the idol at Tribal Council to ensure their loyalty. "No way", Jeremy initially exclaimed. "I'm not giving up the Idol." Brad sighed, and came to terms with Jeremy's decision, as he proceeded to go talk to Ciera.
Brad had a final talk with Ciera before Tribal Council, letting her know that him and Jeremy were going to write Spencer's name down, warning her of Cagayan having the most players in the game, and that the other Blood vs Water men (Hayden and Vytas) would likely be disappointed in Ciera if he (Brad) was voted out.
As the tribe was preparing to leave for Tribal Council, Jeremy received the final confessional, wondering whether he should use his idol as a bargaining tool with Ciera, handing her over the idol at Tribal Council to prove his loyalty, and hope that Ciera flipped. "There's no way of knowing, and I have no clue what I'm going to do", Jeremy stated.
Monotapu arrived at Tribal Council. Jeff asked the tribe for the reason they thought they had lost another challenge. Brad stated that he didn't think they were physically inferior to the other tribes but that they had communication problems during the challenge. Ciera was also the first to admit that she wasn't the greatest swimmer, which held down the whole team. Jeff asked Spencer how to approach tonight's vote, with Spencer claiming that the tribe division was clear and that either Brad or Jeremy would be going home tonight.
Jeremy reiterated Spencer's argument about him and Brad being at the bottom and that one of their torches would likely be snuffed. Jeff then asked Jeremy how he could possibly avoid being the one voted out tonight.
"This is how", Jeremy stated, pulling an Idol out of his bag.
Jeremy passed the hidden Immunity Idol to Ciera. "Ciera, this is yours. Have it. I'm giving up my idol for you to flip and come with Brad and I. If you want to vote us out, go ahead, but know that this is our sign of loyalty."
Ciera put the idol around her neck. "It looks good on me", she said with a smirk on her face. "Wow", Jeff said. "Should we get to the vote?". Spencer looked at Sarah nervously as the tribe voted.
Spencer's mouth dropped. Brad and Ciera both smiled. Sarah turned to Ciera in shock, proclaiming "What?".
Jeff snuffed Spencer's torch, telling the tribe that nothing was ever to be certain in Survivor, and that it was a brand new game for the four of them, sending them off back to camp.

But actually BrantSteele decided the placement order. I'm keeping most of the pre-merge placings the same and am building the story around them, but I did alter the order of some of the merge boots for the story to make more sense.
