It's known that you don't have to win X Factor to be successful post-show, nor that winners have a great track record of pumping out hits and not fading into obscurity (Leon Jackson, Matt Cardle, Joe McElderry who). So knowing that the winner truly doesn't matter in that sense, I think it's best that the eventual winner manage to push an agenda of some sort.
If Saara wins, they can push the agenda that the UK is not racist. After all, you let an openly gay Finnish woman win your biggest singing show in the year of Brexit! If 5AM wins, who are arguably the most 'commercial' and marketable of the remaining finalists, X Factor can hopefully encourage similar groups and singers to try out next year, and add some 'legitimacy' to the show.

Yay at you not hating 5 am anymore. They're a good group and haters can stfu. Didn't know Saara was gay. Matt is the most tolerable white male that is favorite to win of any singing show I've watched so I'd be happy if he won too. Thanks for spoiling Emily went home :)

wumblebee LMAO yes I heard. Matt is already the butt of so many gay jokes on Twitter. And Timster I would rather Matt be gay than date Nicole. That would be the worst relationship ever. I can't with all the gays this year. Freddy was clearly flaming but wasn't open about it which is why the gays rallied behind Saara rather than him. Freddy could have made it further had he played it smart!!
