Defava has short black hair, an average complexion, round blue circles for eyes, and wears a shirt of an orange-red tint. With his / her short hair and non-descript clothing, he / she appears gender ambiguous. The size, shape, and single colour of the eyes suggest a vacant naive stare typical of an awe-struck newbie.
Defava's most intriguing feature is his / her smile. Its colouring is of a slightly stronger shade of red than would be natural. Curving slightly upwards, it suggests a natural content expression. While most would consider this a warm gentle smile, some have some described it as enigmatic, as though Defava is hiding a secret.
Popular Views:
Most other websites would assign a default avatar that does not look like anything, e.g. a humanoid silhouette in Facebook. In Tengaged, Defava could pass for a normal avatar, and indeed looks more appealing than quite a number of them. But a Tengager choosing to resemble Defava is often queried if he is so clueless a noob that he does not even know how to change his avatar.
Sightings:
In many a Casting game, which a lot of newbies participate in, several default avatars are generally spotted. A player hoping for an easy game might feel encouraged as there are likely to be many pathetic players behind them. Over time, these either get changed or their characteristic colours are eventually converted to shades of grey when their owners are eliminated from the game. However, some experienced players have been known to deliberately choose to hide behind the facade of Defava, and lure unsuspecting opponents into a game that was not as easy as it looked.
