I need some advice.
Me and this guy have been really close recently and we've been friends for a while. A few weeks before the 'problem' happened (I will get onto the problem later on) we went to see scream 4 in the cinema and he was really sweet I got scared halfway through and held on to him and he hugged me so basically I was cuddled up to him for the rest of the film and afterwards when the film finished he hugged me and we walked home. All the way home he had his arm round me and walked me home. So all in all the day ended great. But here's where the problem lies, about 3 weeks ago I asked him to prom (when we were walking home he asked me if I was going with anyone and I said I'm going with my mates, little did I know he was going to ask me to prom!) Anyway so I asked him and he took it the wrong way and thought I was telling him to come with me and not asking him! After all of this he didn't speak to me for a while but we are friends again now but we are still very awkward together and no where near where we were before! :( he's really sweet and if I wouldn't of said anything we would of been going together :(
What can I do? He said if I need to chat to him he's always here,
What shall I say to him and I don't know if I'm bugging him:(
