I definitely have my opinions about who should be the next US president, but I want to encourage everyone to learn as much about the candidates as they can and make an informed decision. Even if you are too young to cast a vote, unfortunately a lot of the future decisions of the country affect young people as much or more as they do the older crowd. So even though you cannot cast a vote on election day, you can still talk to others who can and encourage them to make a good, informed choice.

I am voting for Barack Obama because his name has more letters than John McCain
To be honest it doesnt really matter to me. Democrats and Republicans argue over the means of acheiving the same goals, and those goals benefit very few domestically (only the CEO's of major corporations) and absolutly nobody else. Both Obama and Mcain have the corporate agenda at heart when they lie to you telling you the American people is what is truley important to them. That is why it is so difficult to understand their stance on many issues and why they direct your attention towards other things such as minor character flaws of their opponent. How else would they get into the position they are today without major corporate sponsorship? Have you heard of the likes of Mike Gravel, who is in fact one of the few truley honest and good hearted politician out ther? Most likely not and if you have do you know what his positions are on the issues? He does not get any corporate sponsorship therfore doesnt enter into the conciousness of the American population due to lack of advertising. The sole purpose of the State throuout history (including today) has been to protect the interests of a minority from the majority anyways, no matter the title it is reffered to (communist dictatorship, Capitalist Democracy etc.) So if you want to truley have a say in the direction of this country you must work to abolish the state and implement democratic unionism, decentralising the power within this country and doing away with the heirarchys. So to answer your question I will be voting for neither. Anyways thats my rant for the day, probably no1 will read this due to its length but if someone does and takes offense to it I am both sorry and willing to have a sophisticated debate with you. Have a nice day everyone.
Bubbly angle, are you mentally disabled in any type of way? When I said celeberity, I actually meant celeberity. Not wannabe internet star. Now please, go trip over your keyboard elsewhere. This blog WAS about the american election, not your daily increase of self pride and massive ego stroking. Go obama.

The democrats like the war to, Bowler23. Theyre problem with it was the managment of the war, they beleived it was screwed up beyond repair and we need to get out of there before we screw it up more. Now that the surge has been succesful it has in a sense "shut them up" about it. This differs from the American people thoughts on the war because most think it is unjust and done on imperialistic pretenses at this point, which it was done on, Saddam stopped giving them the oil and was going to sell it at a higher price and the American government did'nt like that. The excuse they give to justify it is all the massacers Sadam commited but the fact of the matter is that he was supported and supplied the means to commit those atrocities by the American government so he could stay in power and continue to give them the oil at a cheap price.
blah blah blah im vindication and am so retarded that i don't recognize that i don't have to write my name after every freaking post i make becuz its already done automatically....
Wait, I am retarded because I sign my name for the hell of it? Well, then so be it. I'll continue to write my own name under my posts, and you can continue to run face first into walls, trip over thin air, then piss and shit your pants while you spend hours schemming and planning a way to pick youself yourself back up, like any smart person would.
