I miss you like crazy, and it really sucks because it doesn't even feel like its been a year. You were such a kind person, with a gentle heart and literally you were like a protection blanket - I felt like I could go to you about anything as did most others as well because you were always there to listen to us rant, cry, ect. Although things have changed between us all recently, we still come together to post good things about you, celebrate your life and make sure everyone is doing good. We are all here for each other, and its peace not war like you wanted - we miss your laugh, the way you'd describe how you were going to drink some fireball whiskey, you'd talk about your cats a lot haha and some other things we can't mention. Its because of you that we had such an amazing friend, brother, guardian angel..its because of you so many people got along in the frat chat, and its because of you that I really want to go after my dreams because we only really have one life. Anyways, thank you so much for being apart of my life and many others, you will never EVER be forgotten.
It's the same for me. He's helped me grow SO much here that I can't even begin to express how grateful I've been to get to know him, not just as a friend, but as a brother!
I would have Responded Earlier to this post but things in my life got hectic and believe me Silas got me though it. I may make a blog post on my own about this but because of Silas pushing me through as well as soo many others, I finally was able to fulfuill one of my dreams :)
