Scream - Season 1 [Character Sign Up]

It's time to begin another cliché, but hopefully, entertaining blog series. With just a set of 11 characters for this first season, the cast is small and the stakes are high. My series and episodes for this season (and maybe more?) will be written freely, with a brief base idea for how the events will play out.

However, before we can even begin, it would be great to assign these characters with a user. Anyone can agree to choose someone, AS LONG AS they promise to follow with the episode blogs, ask and answer questions in the comments, and basically give a damn.

Below are some character synopsis paragraphs for all the characters. Check it out:

• Abigail Smith (Main Character)
- Synopsis: Abigail is an 18 year old white female. She's a Senior at Henrico High. Very fashionable and confident, Abigail is an alpha of the group. She holds the bind between everyone, putting conflicts and disagreements within the clique to cease. She is very sociable, and gets along with the other people(characters) outside the group of 6. She has a job at the local mall at Urban Outfitters.

• Daphne Olson
- Synopsis: The mom to Tom(unintentional rhyme), Daphe is a very proud and confident mother who takes care of Tom as his only parent. Leading the family, she has a job as manager at Urban Outfitters at the mall (same place as Abigail, main character), and has loads of interactions with Abigail. She serves as a positive shine and glue between Abigail and her son, Tom.

• Elyse Ellis
- Synopsis: Elyse is an 17 year old white female. She's a Junior at Henrico High. The youngest of the six, Elyse is very strong and a member of the athletic boosters. She frequently displays aggression and causes arguements, but for the right (and sometimes wrong) reasons. She is closest with Mikayla, since they have been friends since middle school. She isn't afraid to display her opinions publicly, but sometimes insights with the group of 6.

• Joshuah Everette
- Synopsis: Joshuah is an 18 year old white male. He's a Senior at Henrico High. Heading to college this fall to continue his passion for photography, Joshuah is very reserved and confided with his clique of five other friends(Abigail/Elyse/Mikayla/Reynold/Tom). With his shy persona and unapproachable apperance, he is non-sociable, but friendly upon his close friends. He refrains from publicizing his emotions, and keeps his romantic life on the down-low.

• Mikayla Wright
- Synopsis: Mikayla is an 17 year old black female. She's a Junior at Heniro High. As previously mentioned, she has an unbreakable friendship with Elyse. Mikayla is going to be a petty character, and always complain about things. In return, the group members always call her out on it and Elyse stands up for her, fighting other people, etc. Mikayla is very reserved, and she doesn't interject much into the group of 6.

• Principal Vince Beckett
- Synopsis: The principal of Henrico High, Beckett is just a background character who is only seen at portions of time at school. He assists in the case to find out the killer, and is a man of many words. He focuses on the group of 6, and supervises them through grief, suspicion, etc.

• Reynold Daniels
- Synopsis: Reynold is an 18 year old white male. He's a Senior at Henrico High. The party and jokester, Reynold doesn't take things seriously. This causes disagreements within the 6, especially with Abigail and Mikayla. Reynold is very flirtatious, and works his way around the totem pole of females, so to speak, in public. His mysteriousness and attractiveness are what works his charm and kicked-back style.

• Rhonda Yoshimoto
- Synopsis: Rhonda is married to the Sheriff of the town, and she works at the high school. As she teaches photography, she assists and has a great relationship with Joshuah as her student. She also has troubles with her marriage, and runs into conflict throughout the season.

• Sandy Rowland
- Synopsis: Sandy is an 18 year old white female. She is a senior at Henrico High. Sandy will be the top tier of popularity and bitchiness within the show's plot. Her wealth and beauty are her primary focus for her young adulthood, but she takes the events very seriously after they unfold. She is not a member of the group of 6. She, in fact, hates Reynold after a summer breakup. However, they hook back up, and after the killings begin, Sandy begins to reel into the group, and then Sandy will develop in the season.

• Sheriff Earl Yoshimoto
- Synopsis: The sheriff of Henrico, Yoshimoto serves as the head of the case against the killer. He is frequently within the premises of moments, and serves to protect those alive and find justice for those killed. He is married to his wife Rhonda Yoshimoto, who is a teacher at Henrico High.

• Tom Olson
- Synopsis: Tom is an 18 year old white male. He's a Senior at Henrico High. A classroom geek and history finatic, Tom provides comic relief and thoughtful insight for the group of 6 throughout the events of the first season/events. With a soft side and fondness for family, Tom's mom is also a prime character for the season, as she comforts the group(especially Tom) in time of grief.

Basic run down, Abigail/Elyse/Joshuah/Mikayla/Reynold/Tom are all close friends. They have some small divides within the group, such as Reynold having girl issues with many, Elyse standing up for Mikayla in fights, and Abigail being the central character will definitely bring something. Earl and Rhonda are married. Daphne serves as a motherfly figure to her son, as well as the group of 6. Sandy has a very isolated role, but also important involvement with other characters after she asides her pettiness and bitchiness. Principal Vince Beckett is definitely the most "alone" character, but also will be interesting at times.

Please, please, please. Do not sign up for someone unless you really are interested, will read episodes, and pay attention at most times. If you think, however, the character is perfect, COMMENT WHY YOU THINK YOU WOULD FIT THAT CHARACTER. More detail and quality, higher chance at getting the character.

I am a huge fan of scream I love the movies to the series and just being able to be in any part of the series is a big deal for me and I was a fan of Jake and Brooke so I would love to be Reynolds hopefully find me my Brooke, hopefully I get in will read it all!

Omg can I be Joshuah? Since he's reserved and doesn't really like talking to anyone except for his close group & doesn't reveal his feelings or romantic life which is so me. And he's interested in photography which I'm super into. I feel like he'd be the level-headed one who doesn't really like to get into arguments or be involved in drama.

I am literally the male version of elyse, I do tend to be more loud mouthy irl, and I am in quite a few arguments which usually happen when I'm defending someone, my best friend is literally just like Mikayla so it's just perfect.

OMG! I'm a little late to the party, but this series sounds AMAZING! If I were to be chosen to participate as a character I would love to be Rhonda! Some of her backstory seems close to things I have seen or dealt with in my life and she seems like a wonderful character (aka iconic queen). I would love to be Rhonda but would definitely read this series either way because it sounds great!

Sandy is literally me. I am such a bitch, and I make fun of people on a daily basis, I should get paid for it. I took a personality quiz online (with the Scream Characters) and it said my personality was much like Brooke Maddox.

I'm in two blog rp's at the moment
they're "One Killer" and "Descendants" and I always review them.

Seems like I won't get picked but, if I was to pick one it would be Joshuah as he is me in real life. A very hopeless romantic it seems with his character, he's quiet like me and I keep everything on the down-low and I would see myself reacting in a way to these murders like Joshuah, shocked, speechless. I believe he has the killing motive, and I believe I do too in real life (oops) although, who says I have the guts to murder someone. Or become a serial killer.
