Hali- Girl if they suspected an Idol you should of faked one. You knew it was you or Mckayla. Say "yes heaux I got an Idol and I'm playing it tonight. " Rule #843 on Survivor. When you know you are leaving fake an idol....it just may work....
Ozzy- Should of pulled all the guys on your pre-merge tribe together. Though Zeke's over playing ass may of ruined it anyway.
Debbie- My girl Aubrey looked at that camera and I died. I knew it was a wrap for Debbie then. Did it ever cross Debbie's mind to smooth over what happened in Kaoh Rong with Aubrey? Aubrey said she was crazy then and is still crazy. My girl Aubrey put the hit in on you again and I'm glad. Pay back for voting out Merman.
Zeke- Bye. Stop coming back. You ruin the true core of survivor which is forming bonds and carrying them. You want to go for the jugular every tribal council. Not bad but you just over think. You could of had yourself, Ozzy, Tai, and Jeff. Andrea would of made 5 votes. You could of easily pulled 1 or two swing votes. Hail and Mckayla for sure . That core alliance wouldn't of flipped one you. You wanted big moves instead of basic common sense moves and that's why you're in jury.
Sierra- Girl.....don't tell people who aren't in your real alliance about your powers. And def. don't tell them you have the legacy advantage and can will it to someone. Especially if that person flipped on you. Why do you need to build Sarah's trust? Your side was in trouble and that wasn't going to help. Why no one told Tai to use one of his many Idols I don't know.
Andrea- Why they voted you out over Brad I don't know. Why they are voting people out of their own alliance I don't know. Why they are flipping each other out the game I don't know.
Mckayla- For what is was worth they could of given you the money. Had you not been playing with over strategizing idiots Brad would of been gone. You would of won that immunity and regardless of Sarah's extra vote you would still be in the game. The votes would of tied. They wouldn't of had the votes in the re-vote. Flipping on your own alliance cost you the game. I don't blame you however I blame Cirie.
I'm new to blogging for Survivor but I've been binge watching seasons so I'm gonna star blogging here on out. BB blogs will continue. These are randoms rants and thoughts.
Filler cast. Only a few from what I remembered where real game changers. The rest are just in there because they need filler in cast. Work ain't honest but it pays the bills. But I like to see people who were my favorites come back.
Sandra bar none had me dying the entire time. "Ain't nobody got no idol over there" Has to be the quote of the season. I died.
I died When McKayla sipped her drink during tribal council while the votes where being read. And the hair flip was worth a million dollars alone. JT you should of played with Malcolm.....you would still be in it with Sandra. Ugh....Why Tony and JT never wanted to play with Sandra is beyond me. In what world did they think they were making it on there own...
Please tell me why Ozzy didn't pull the girls together in his tribe before the merge? Zeke said he didn't want to choose between Jeff and Ozzy. You don't have to. All of you work together and vote out Debbie as common sense she must of gotten something helpful redemption Island. Pull the gays under you for numbers. It would of worked and been good TV.
I do this every season. Again sorry for lack of content. In previous seasons Big Brother Canada has been easier to watch online for free. Youtube really made it hard this year by stopping people from consistently uploading episodes. I don't pay to watch BBUS I won't pay to watch BBCAN even though BBCAN may be slightly better of a show. I will be blogging here on out...Without further to do.... As always..worst to best chance.
5. Kelsey- The vast majority of people who come back into the game don't win. Even true of Gary and he made it the farthest. Her only chance to win was winning the veto to take Nikki off the block so Cass or Joel would go up ensuring Tim would go home. I can't see Kelsey winning this against anyone else. And she voted Nikki out.....Loveita would of been a much better returnee. You should of made it a competition to come back production....Kelsey did all the right things for her personal game but her alliance suffered. Her entire alliance besides Raul failed to follow up his HOH. It would of made her more of a target but Raul would of still been there and Jared....This is what happens when you play too passively and is the type of floating I abhor especially when the entire season takes part in it. When you see a potential threat on the horizon you deal with it. Not hide. She hid along with Jared and that's why they were dethroned. If you are running the game RUN IT! You can't call shots with no HOH, POV. or people on your side to fight for you.....you got to know when to take the reigns and when to sit back. Sorry Kelsey. I was not impressed.
4. The brothers- They made the awful mistake last week of targeting Maddy who would of went after Cass and the other side for them. Which would of gave them a chance to float even longer. They made up for this in the D.E. HOH by targeting Tim and Nikki but in all honesty that move was far too late at the final 6 with no Jared. They should of made easy nominations and put up Tim and Nikki the first time and sold the ethnocentric idea of only a Canadian winning. And with Ramsey winning the veto despite him leaving the brothers could of convinced Ramsey before he left to use the veto on Nikki so they could sit Joel next to Tim. Come on guys. Then when Cass won HOH she wouldn't of taken a shot at you. The target would of been Maddy with Jared as a possible backdoor. They miscalculated that HOH and now need to win out from the final 5 which is why they are only getting 4th on my list. Up until now they were playing a near perfect floating game. Why expose ties when you had enough people to hide behind? You didn't have to choose between the showmances...Probably one of the baddest moves but physically they are capable enough at the final 5 to win out. If they don't oh well. They could of floated to the finale and won.
3. Cassandra- I want to put her higher but I'm not sure she would beat the other two I put over her in a vote. But hands down easily the best female player this season. The only other female player of mention was Loveita who showed up early. Cass laid low, let the some of the stronger middle people take some hits, hid behind warring factions, and pulled together an alliance of leftovers. Her straight forwardness got her the trust of many people on all sides. Though with last week and this week she burned a lot of bridges. She just has to call it what it is if she makes the finale night...power moves. She really had no other choice but to go after the brothers and Jared. Those fights were their immaturity of them finally not getting their way. They can deal. They ran the vast majority of the season and then failed to win the all important middle game comps to give them the best end game scenario. So now the leftover floaters are picking them off when they should of been using those middle game HOH's to target the leftover floaters like Joel, Cass, and Tim. Don't cry now....Go Queen Cass. Make this finale girl. Rep for the ladies this season because the majority of them didn't show up to play. Her best bet? Kelsey, and Tim.
2. Tim- Tim has easily played one of the best games this season and I'm impressed since he is foreign to Canada and has no home-field advantage, and he is foreign to the concept of our version of BB with HOH, POV, and voting people out. He took the bull by the horns and dove right in and easily played one of the best floating games this season. I got to say. There has been some pretty decent and worthy floating games this season. It's the type of floating I don't mind. As they actually tried and played good social games. Unlike #BB17 and #BBCAN3 where most of the floaters made it to the end by losing all the comps, and hiding behind large alliances calling every single shot in the game until the very end. At least this season the floaters put up opposition to the main factions from the very beginning and made importance of the vote and the POV's. No one tried to win anything #BB17 don't start. And again the minorities were dragged to the end in #BBCAN3 with game twist. Kelsey was voted back in and the floaters still triumphed. Tim used on the most brilliant ploys as HOH I've ever seen, offered himself up Will Kirby style and stayed in the game. And in an unprecedented move I didn't even see coming, survived final 6 D.E. His only hope to win is Cass or Kelsey. Maybe the brothers. I wanted to see how Tim would lead this freak show alliance and he is doing me proud. He is leading it, making it look like he isn't, and getting them to use power to save him.....If he wins this game He'll easily be the best #BBCAN winner. Amazing floating game and at a double disadvantage.
1. Joel- Of course. And am I biased because Joel was aligned with Loveita? Yes. I want to see someone Loveita was working with win. But beside that he also deserves it. He played the floating game I approve of. He won power early on to establish himself with alliances and in the social hierarchy, he took a shot at the main faction in the house, no one EVER went after after him for that....and in an obvious move the brothers wanted to put up themselves instead of Joel, and he still survived! Not a single vote to evict. Kelsey who he got rid of didn't even vote against him. Joel if you don't win this game I'll be crushed. Again some amazing floating games this year and Joel's was the best. He won early, sat back, and used his vote to take out the big guns all while keeping a strong core of players around him to the point no one still wants to target him in my knowledge and it's the final 5. Cass wants him to the end, The brothers are still warring with Tim. Kelsey I'm sure out of female jealousy will want to take a shot at Cass or Tim to make a big move for herself (Lord knows she needs one). Joel just chill. Make sure they spell your name right on that check you're about to get.
These are my rants and raves about the show outside the game play.
1. The house could be more spiced up. These filler episodes could be used to play up the theme of the house like they did last season. Last year they were solving puzzles and doing some decent mental math. It's Vegas this year! Why aren't we chancing anything that could influence the house like they did last season? Hell things got real last season when the food was locked up last year week one. The had to solve a puzzle.
2. Why didn't Lo and Kelsey compete instead of allowing the house to vote? Like in what world were they gonna let the Black Canadian Rachel Riley back into the house? I can't with production this year.
3. Why is the winner of this show still only getting 100K for winning this game? 70K after taxes for 3 months or random variables and carnival games that you have literally no chance of winning? Compensate these people better for their time please. 3 months of someone's life is a large time investment. Those stipends, social media, internet, and the randomness of the show aren't worth it.
4. The diversity this season has been bar none.
5. The brothers twist is amazing though I feel they should get more money just because it's near impossible for them to make this finale.
Best game so far.....
1. Joel. And what can I say but he lays low and took a shot at the other side and didn't go down for it yet. His best bet is to continue to hide behind this war that is about to happen with the couple, the brothers, maddy, and the rest of the freak show. Later on he can always sell Tim as being more ingenious and being bonded with Nikki makes him a bigger target. You can do it Joel.
2. Jared. Again solid game play. Won all the comps to get himself to power or off the block, and plays a pretty upfront game. I guess since everyone wants to hide behind him I got to give him some credit. He can't survive this mid game. Though with Ramsey out They might let a juror come back so he might as well go for it.
3. The brothers. They just need to keep laying low though this HOH put them in a bad spot.
Make easy noms boys.
4. Tim. Though I don't think he will win he will make it far. Someone will take a shot at the freak show alliance and he is the leader of it. As a returning winner I'd like to see how he can lead that faction against the others without getting taken out. Prove me wrong Tim.
No women are playing a game worth mentioning. Maddy is fucked. Cass may last the longest of the women if they don't decide to drag useless Nikki to the end. I would of loved to see a Nikki HOH though....ugh.... Lo was the only woman who showed up to play beside Sharry. The two strongest girls of the season were promptly dealt with by the house. Girls did not pull together, and the middle refused to make the obvious move of removing the male threats Jared and Raul early from that group of 3. They got 2 HOH's from Lo. With Joel's, they could of went after the Brothers. Dallas, Sharry, or Lo should of won this game. Had they had the support of the do nothings. Why Dallas's side, Lo, or the middle never directed those HOH's, POV's, and votes at the 3 and brothers I don't know. No one ever wants to play in the beginning...and then they complain when they start to go down hard for it....I can't. Worst season so far in terms of game play on #BBCAN
And for everyone's shade at Gary. Even if you don't count his return he got 8th. He still originally made it further than any of the LGBT contestants. The LGBT's need to step the game play up. I don't blame them. Gay men naturally gravitate towards women and women don't pull together and that leaves over half the house complacent while the alpha males, and leading showmance picks off the weak women, strong rouge women, and other minorities. So tired. And you would think the women and minorities would catch on season after season they are playing too passively and it's biting them in the ass. Andy won yes....but had their been no MVP Mccrae or Howard would of won that game. The MC would of swept it.
Fuck that floating shit. 60% of you can't be floaters. When the middle is large enough to sway the votes that's an alliance and they let it get picked off week after week. Since when do that many people show up to do nothing for five weeks? Oh because production is not paying these people shit to make them get up and put in the effort. #justsaying
