Redemption Island:
Ometepe sends Hali and Spencer to the duel, Zapatera sends Cirie and Jenn
*Mike and Charlie enter , Charlie doesn’t acknowledge his former tribemates*
Mike and Charlie compete and Charlie wins the duel and remains alive.
Jeff: Mike, you are officially out of the game, you can toss your buff in the urn.
*Mike leaves*
Jeff: “Charlie head on back and wait for your next challenger”
Zapatera Camp:
With Charlie being eliminated and Rob dodging a bullet, he knows he has to flip the game. He approaches Cirie and they start talking. Rob is trying to Convince Cirie that the best move for them would be to team up with Jenn and target either Parvati or Ozzy should they lose another challenge. Since both Parvati and Ozzy have connections on the other tribe they are dangerous to keep around. Cirie listens and contemplates Rob’s offer. Cirie thinks they might be able to get Ozzy to volunteer to go to Redemption Island if it comes to it.
Ometepe Camp:
Joaquin, Russell, and Spencer have a strategy session. Joaquin is trying to convince the guys to throw the next challenge. He tells them that they are up by four members and going into the merge it would be most beneficial to get rid of people like Amanda, James, and NaOnka. Spencer agrees that taking out some big threats would be smart. Russell disagrees.
Russell confessional: “Last time I played, my tribe threw a challenge to get rid of me and it ended up costing them all the entire game. Throwing challenges is not a good strategy. “
Joaquin approaches Hali, Peih-Gee and Heidi to see how they would feel about throwing the next challenge. None of the women seem too keen, but say that they will go along with whatever.
Immunity challenge: Spencer and Joaquin make sure that Ometepe loses, and Zapatera wins their first challenge!
Ometepe Beach:
After returning from the challenge, Amanda realizes that Spencer and Joaquin threw the challenge. She and James agree that one of the two needs to go. James and Amanda approach NaOnka, and she is all for getting one of the guys out. They know they will need two more votes. NaOnka, being one of Heidi’s closest friends in the game, tries to sway her to vote with James and Amanda. Heidi is hesitant to trust Amanda after their fight earlier in the game. Amanda and Peih-Gee talk, Peih-Gee likes the idea of breaking up the three guys but is not sure now is the time to strike.
Peih-Gee confessional: “I’ve positioned myself right in the middle, James and Amanda need me and so do Joaquin/Spencer/Russell. Wherever I go I am burning a group of people and will have a big target on my back.”
Joaquin, Spencer, and Russell discuss their options. Joaquin pushes for NaOnka to go, but Russell and Spencer think that James is a bigger threat, and putting him on Redemption Island early could be good. They decide on their target and let Hali, Peih-Gee, and Heidi know the vote.
Heidi Confessional: “The guys come up to us and tell us how to vote. It really rubs me the wrong way how cocky they are. I feel like I’m choosing between the lesser of two evils: on one hand I have the guys alliance and on the other Amanda who I do not get along with. I have to suck it up and work with one of these groups though.
Tribal Council:

Amanda: “I’ve done all I can to make sure it was you, we’ll see how throwing this challenge worked out for you.”

Ometepe sends NaOnka and Joaquin to the duel, Zapatera sends Parvati and Rob

*JT leaves*
Jeff: “Mike head on back and wait for your next challenger”
Ometepe:
After clearing her head after her blow up on Amanda, Heidi is determined to get back in the game. She approaches Peih-Gee and Hali and tells them that the three of them need to stick together because they can’t trust James and Amanda and Joaquin/Russell/Spencer are an obvious trio in the game. Hali agrees, but Peih-Gee does not make any commitments.
Peih-Gee confessional: “Heidi has some good points for the position that she’s in. She burned some bridges and that’s her deal, not mine. I don't want to isolate myself from Amanda and James by aligning with her. I still have options for who I want to align with, she doesn’t.”
Joaquin and NaOnka have a blow up when NaOnka starts sneaking extra food.
Joaquin confessional: “That girl’s crazy, in her mind she can do no wrong. I wouldn’t mind losing a challenge to send her packing.”
James and Amanda begin to work on NaOnka to join them after her fight with Joaquin.
Zapatera:
Charlie is getting comfortable. After being a swing vote the last two tribals, he is confident in his position in the game.
Charlie Confessional: “I’m in a great spot right now, the men need me, the women need me and I have almost total say in who goes home.”
Rob tries to start rebuilding ties with Ozzy. He tells him how dangerous his alliance with the women is. Ozzy says he knows he can trust Cirie and Parv because they want to make up to him for what they did in Micronesia. Rob asks about Jenn and Charlie. He tells Ozzy they’re wildcards they have been flipping votes and going into the merge Jenn will flip to Hali in a second.
Immunity Challenge: Ometepe wins their fourth straight challenge
Zapatera:
Going back to tribal Rob knows he is on the chopping block. Thinking that Ozzy is not willing to budge with his position, he goes to Charlie and tells him how Ozzy doubts his loyalty. This upsets Charlie.
Charlie confessional: “Seriously Ozzy, I have saved you two votes in a row and you don’t trust me?? I’ll give you a real reason not to trust me if that’s how you want to play it.”
Ozzy can tell that Charlie is ignoring him and starts getting paranoid. He goes to Cirie and Parvati and tells them he wants either Jenn or Charlie out tonight. Cirie and Parvati agree that they don’t trust those two 100% because of Jenn/Hali’s relationship and because Charlie is a loose cannon. They still feel that Rob is a big threat too because he has Heidi on the other side.
Meanwhile, Jenn is caught in the middle of campaigning from Rob. Parvati also approaches Jenn and says that if she wants to stay she needs to convince Ozzy that she is not with Charlie so that he will stop bringing her name up.
Tribal:

Ometepe sends Russell and Amanda to the duel, Zapatera sends Jenn and Ozzy

Kass and JT compete and JT wins the duel and remains alive. Ozzy looks disappointed.
Jeff: Kass, you are officially out of the game, you can toss your buff in the urn.
*Kass leaves*
Jeff: “JT head on back and wait for your next challenger”
Ometepe camp:
Amanda starts to worry about her position in the game. Apart from James she hasn’t made many strong bonds. She approaches Peih-Gee and the two form a secret alliance.
Amanda Confessional: “Peih-Gee and I had a decent relationship in China but no one would expect us to work together, so this is perfect. I still feel on the outs so I need to make some more connections.”
Heidi begins to feel left out. She sees Amanda bonding with James and Peih-Gee, Peih-Gee and Hali together, and the guys becoming closer.
Heidi Confessional: “I feel really alone right now, I don’t know who to trust and I feel like nobody genuinely likes me.”
Amanda later approaches Heidi about joining her and James in an alliance. Heidi goes off on Amanda for only talking to her when she feels like she needs to campaign. NaOnka sits and laughs because for once she is seen as the calm one.
Zapatera:
Coming back from a split tribal council has Rob and Mike feeling on the bottom.
Rob Confessional: “We thought we were going to take out king-pin Ozzy, but unfortunately that didn’t happen. JT’s gone and I’m probably next if we lose again.”
Jenn is upset at her alliance for not taking out Ozzy and begins to distance herself.
Jenn: “I came here to play the game for myself, not Ozzy. He got his way…..again. I came back to win, not lay down to be used as a stepping stone to get Ozzy to the end. I’m over these people. I just need to make it to the merge and me and Hali can blow [expletive] up.”
Immunity Challenge: After an extremely close challenge, Ometepe pulls off their third straight win, sending Zapatera back to tribal council.
Zapatera beach:
Mike and Rob know they’re in trouble. They approach Jenn with another pitch to blindside Ozzy, Jenn is in 100%. The try their pitch to Charlie who seems hesitant, but possibly willing to make a move. Jenn tells Charlie that with Ozzy, Parvati, and Cirie, they are fourth and fifth.
Parvati and Cirie discuss who to get rid of between Mike and Rob. Parvati says that Rob is a bigger mental threat, but Mike sending Mike to Redemption Island could help to take out threats that get sent their after. Cirie says: “like Ozzy”. They laugh at how easy it was to turn Ozzy against the only people he could truly trust. They discuss a plan to team up with Amanda at the merge, but are fearful that if they take Ozzy into the merge Amanda would side with him over them.
Tribal Council
Mike and Rob plea their case as to why it would benefit the tribe to keep them. Ozzy sits confidently.

Jenn: “Ozzy, I’m voting for you because, frankly, you need to get the [expletive] out.”

Zapatera beach: After tribal council Parvati and Cirie know they’re in trouble.
Cirie Confessional: “Me and Parv are the only two who didn’t vote for Kass, if we thought we had big targets on our backs before, they’ve grown exponentially now.”
While Parvati and Cirie talk about their options, Ozzy, Mike, JT, and Rob celebrate.
Mike: “We just put ourselves in a position to run this game, I don’t see any way we’re going to be stopped now”
Ometepe Beach
Joaquin, Russell, and Spencer begin spending more and more time together which alarms the rest of the tribe. Pehi-Gee and Hali begin to see that they are on the bottom of their five person alliance.
Hali Confessional: “Peih-Gee and I are sitting in the middle, but we’re not in a good spot. We need the idol”
The tribe catches Russell searching for the hidden immunity idol, he denies it. A mad search for the idol is on, and it’s Peih-Gee who finds it.
Immunity Challenge:

Zapatera:
Back at Zapatera the men meet to discuss the vote. Ozzy pushes for Parvati to go.
JT Confessional: “It seems we have a new ninth tribe member….Ozzy’s ego. He’s not letting anyone make decisions and I’d like to knock him down a peg”
JT approaches Parvati with an idea to blindside Ozzy. Parvati agrees.
Parvati and Cirie go down the path to strategize. They find a fallen tree to sit on. Parvati tells Cirie about the plan to blindside Ozzy. Cirie is worried that taking out Ozzy will only cause them to lose more immunity challenges. Parvati suggests using her conversation with JT to flip Ozzy to them and pull in Jenn and Charlie. Cirie agrees it’s worth a shot. Before getting up to leave Cirie reaches into a whole in the tree and pulls out a hidden immunity idol!
Cirie goes to Jenn and Charlie, shows them the idol and tries to convince them to flip.
Jenn Confessional: “I don’t trust Cirie, Charlie seems to be buying what she’s selling but I see straight through her. She’s dangerous and needs to go.”’
Parvati approaches Ozzy and spills her conversation with JT. Ozzy is furious.
Tribal Council: Ozzy calls out JT for plotting against him. JT sits calmly and claims it was a lie to cover himself.
