Smallville season 9 premiers next friday. I know that any fan of this show is ready for it to come back on. Personally, I hope that this is the last season. It has progressively become Metropolis based and Clark is still struggling with his same issues for 9 straight years. He needs to become Superman and grow a set already! But the show is still good and carries the CW as well as Supernatural, which I do not watch. I want to see Lex come back for the last couple of episodes of the series....and I'm glad Lana is gone. 
My survey of mass media class had a disussion today on whether or not Kanye West's dish last night was a PR stunt or not?? any thoughts? it was brought up that today is Jay Leno's new show and Kanye West was booked awhile ago to be on tonight. on one hand, it could be, but on the other hand, Taylor Swift's body language showed that she was distraught by it, meaning that if it was a PR stunt, she wasn't aware. Place your input!
