did anyone else realize a flaw in the directing? Remember how they all decided 1. to vote themselves and 2. to vote the one to their right? And remember how when the pregnant woman died, there was only the child killing murderer and THE PREGNANT WOMANS BABY! :l So when everyone voted the person to their right, everyone probably should've been up for.. death except the the pregnant woman or her baby. Or when they decided to vote themselves, she was supposed to be able to vote herself because technically, the baby inside of her... :l

I think the machine only recognized that the fetus was a living thing until after the lady died
Well it's completely true. The story we witnessed showed it off perfectly, from every angle, personality and decision. There were other groups obviously doing the same thing with different results, but the vast majority of people wont sacrifice themselves for someone else, no matter if they say they will or not. Obviously in the other groups, it ended up working out in some way.
hadoush what Eric was suggesting and what half the group was trying to do was practically sacrifice themselves for the girl/pregnant lady to live. Eric represents a majority of humanity.
