Betting, good and bad

- the pro: the Bets propose a twist to the game in itself as more popular players become targets. hence giving the game more of a level playing field, and giving other players a chance to win that normally dont but:
the con: There is something I dont like about having an "outside source" effecting the outcome of the game. it's sorta like someone from the outside getting into a real Big Brother house and saying "hey you gotta watch that guy over there, hes out to get you".
alternate ideas: If you MUST have the bests I propose that the #s remain secret, and maybe even karma levels remain secret/unviewable to anyone except the player who has it. I still wouldnt mind the list of who joined the games not be revealed until all 10 have joined if that is work-able (I know stuff can be hard to code) :)
Dont take any of this as an insult to the site.. just my own opinions, i enjoy tengaged either way :)
