(NOTE: This is just my observation on the game. I'm not trying to call CBS or anybody a Racist)
This has nothing to do wit the format or even racism. It has to do with the social experiment side of things. In terms of stereotypes Black Men and Females are seen are loud, rude, and aggressive. Now not all black people fit into that awful stereotype but while in the house. If any black person should ever do 1 thing “Ghetto” or fell into that stereotype they are gone. Candice on BB15 no matter what was seen as a target even if she was attack by racism in the house. Danielle on season 3 lost do to her aggressive DR being show to the jury. Da’Vonne target by Clay because she got bit to “sassy” in a fight. Black people are pretty much not allowed to be who they are in the house. If you are black you cant be sassy if you are by nature. Now I’m not saying this game cant be won if you are black. They could and almost have but they just cant fall into a stereotype. Day is getting evicted due to type casting by CBS. CBS only picks 3 type of Black people ( Urban, Religious, and Gay). Day falls into Urban where no matter how smart she try to play the game. People will just see her as annoying due to being raised in that lifestyle. Her lifestyle does not mix well in the game of Big Brother where one argument gets you sent home.
TL;DR- Black People cant be them self due to underline social racism in the USA.
No one in the house sees Day as annoying. She's getting evicted for being overly emotional and explosive.. Not for being black. And if anything CBS tried to help her by giving her the power this week. But I do understand what you are saying about past season black players. It just doesn't apply now
But all in all Da'Vonne had a choice to get into it with Clay. Da'Vonne made the first comment, Da'Vonne continued the argument when she had the CHOICE to. Don't get me wrong I love mama Da' but she fucked herself.
That is true but Day was never going to win this game from the start. She is to big of personality and anything could have made her leave on any week. To bad it was week 2 :L
