about that guy who died on Survivor Bulgaria. I wanted to find out if there was any more information about it. So the story is that he died of a heart attack after a challenge. The guy was a the mayor mayor of Radnevo. A town, in the south of Bulgaria, they declared five days of mourning after his death. I couldn't find anything about if the network got into any issues with it. I'm guessing they didnt seeing as the show was not stopped after his death. Unlike what happens when the guy on the 2013 season of Survivor in France died on the first day. After that the show was caned. So the moral of the story is don't go on European Survivor where you can legit die. CBS would never let anyone die on the show. (even though a few castaway have died after the show like Jenn Lyon and Caleb Bankston)
The issue isnt that its less safe, it's a lack of screening during casting.
This guy's death was too sudden for them to help, but it most likely happened due to an existing condition, which CBS survivor just wouldn't have risked casting him.
What you are saing is completely wrong ! The French contestant that died in France had a very rare heart disease that the medical tests failed to detect and he died because he was such a fan that he didn't tell the Prod about it. Had he told them about it, they would have been more careful. When you see that Jennifer Lanzetti stayed with a bug in her ear for two days while she was bleeding and everything, I won't say that American Survivor is safer you know. In both case it's just bad luck...
