how long should a puppy nap for?

My puppy has been napping now for 2 hours this afternoon.  Should I wake him up to go the bathroom and take him for a walk? Or should I let him nap until he wakes up?

they can nap for  hours and hours.  take it out, cuz you don't want it to wake up in a mess.  But if you are worried, they can sleep for a long time.

Okay thanks guys- I'll let him sleep for another hour, then wake him up to do all of his business, then give him a bath.  <3

I never have kept my dog on a nap schedule. they are like babies and get up for a while at night but as they grow up they sleep all night so i suppose its up to you, i doubt you'll stop him from waking at night though, til he is at least 8 mos old.
