I think that the events leading up to this are just as memorable and amazing as the lip sync itself. So, if you're sitting comfortably, then I shall begin...
Another pairs twist, and this time enemies Sharon and Phi Phi are put together. The other pairings; Chad Michaels and Dida Ritz, and Latrice Royale and Willam, are safe, with the latter pairing crowned the winners of the challenge. As Ru tells Sharon and Phi Phi that they are in the bottom 2 and must lip sync for their lives, Willam suddenly vomits off the side of the stage. Nevertheless, the lip sync continues as normal, with both queens doing well at 'It's Raining Men', dressed in devil and angel costumes.
During the lip sync, Sharon stays true to herself and focuses on her lip syncing and body language, whilst Phi Phi... does... something, I don't even know what's she was doing tbh. She rips her wig off (even though she slated Milan for doing the same thing), and her shoes are off (even though she slated LaShawn Beyond for doing the same thing), and on numerous occasions deliberately gets in Sharon's way. Basically, you can tell that Sharon is completely working it and Phi Phi is going home...
Until, Ru calls Willam down to the front of the stage. Willam has been caught breaking the rules (which was later revealed to be having his partner sneak into his hotel room for 'conjugal visits', with family contact prohibited during the competition for fairness reasons), and was disqualified. Phi Phi narrowly avoided being eliminated to the competition, and this marked the first DQ in Rupaul's drag race! However, Willam was not going to Rupologize!

Bring out the tissues, this one is not for the emotionally unstable. So the deal in All Stars was that 12 of the best and most talented queens (look out for many of those in this blog series...) were asked to come back for a short All Stars season. The twist? Each queen would be paired up. Raven and Jujubee (Team Rujubee for the monkeyfunking win!) were paired up almost immediately and made it to the final 2 pairings.
Now, I think they out-classed Team Shad (Shannel and Chad) in the comic-book challenge, but that's a whole different story. The perfect pair were now pitted against each other, lip syncing to Robyn's 'Dancing On My Own'. In an emotional battle, where both queens cried and performed amazingly emotional lip syncs, Rupaul decided that neither should go home, and the final 3 became a final 4. Scripted, much? But whatever, they both deserved to stay over Shannel, but that's a whole different story...
Again, in terms of memorable lip syncs, this is right up there with the best of them. In terms of skill and creativity? Nah, but it's still one of my favourites and easily the most emotional.

Now, before we get started on this lip sync, let's remind ourselves of Milan vs Madame (not saying her last name in case it's deemed as 'homophobic'... bitches be out to get me) from the previous episode of this series; Milan more or less gets completely naked and, to quote a wise and brilliant queen “swiffers the floor with her taint” (google it). So, all eyes were on Milan to see what would happen next time she was in a lip sync for your life...
After a disappointing Snatch Game for both queens, they were put in the bottom 2 and asked to lip sync to Madonna's 'Vogue'. Within 5 seconds, Milan – dressed as Janelle Monae in a lady-tux – surprises everyone in numerous ways. Firstly, she keeps her clothes on (hurrah!), but secondly she is lip syncing whilst doing a handstand! This is the lip sync that will always showcase exactly what Milan could do. Yes, she loved ripping her wig off and resembled a horse, but this filly could lip sync! She vogued and out-danced Kenya in so many ways, bitch did not stand a chance. It's a shame that Milan would refer back to her Wig Wars days in the next episode against Jiggly Caliente, and then get voted off. This showed what she could do.

This one is low on my list because even though it's a dramatic lip sync, only one queen actually performed it in full. For those who don't know, Yara felt harshly judged compared to other queens in the competition, and when she was asked to lip sync for her life in the final 4, it was all too much for her. Midway through the performance, she broke down on the runway and had to be consoled by Alexis Mateo. A dramatic and memorable lip sync, but not the best in my opinion. The rest of the top 10 feature lip syncs in which one queen, or both, shone brightly and made for amazing television!
Honorable Mentions:
For the same reasons, the following pairings missed out on a spot in my top 10, but can never be called forgettable.
Mimi Imfurst and India Ferrah (Series 3) – Mimi picks up India mid lip-sync and is ultimately told to sashay away.
Tammie Brown and Akasia (Series 1) – Tammie chooses not to lip sync because she didn't have the lyrics down perfectly. Thus, Akasia steals the show and makes Michelle Williams cry. Awww.
Shangela and Venus D-Lite (Series 3) – Venus becomes aggressive towards the other queens; throwing her wig at those who were called safe and pushing Shangela during the lip sync. Rupaul chastises both queens for their behaviour, but Shangela moves on. Maybe we will see her again in this Top Ten...
