To stay within the crowd and yet to not be seen
It is these people who can see what other are unable
To sit at the front of the class to try to grasp the hourglass
To stop the time from flying but there is no denying
To sit alone within the class to be ignored by one and all
To try to join but to be repelled it is so sad to tell
To try to learn where others all they do is play the fool
To find that at once i am invisible
To sit alone within this crowd to tremble at the icy blast
It is not the wind that i feel but the loathing that the others feel
They know that i am unworthy to join the rest and to be merry at their behest
My eyes fall upon the desk my ear do seek what made them laugh
As silence tears they travel they run and slide unheeded
It is the words of other which are most conceded
That she is stupid she is evil she is not worth acknowledging
So she sits alone in the front of her class and hears the distant voices rumble
If you see this child would you try to see her troubles
To hear her plea her timid voice expounding
Please see i am here today as i was yesterday but tomorrow maybe i will not return
Maybe then, they might just say why she stay away
