b4 u neg and bitch on this blog, this site use to be fun, where people actually became friends, where we knew each other by 1st names, when loyalty in a game mattered, when it was tengaged ......
randomize this site is not what it use to be, i understand we need new people to keep the site going, but the multi's and trolls are getting out of hand, and your loyal players are leaving one by one.
We need new games, we need something for us to stay here, Thank you for adding THG, the excitement was so fun to see on here. It's the little things like adding new color levels, people have been asking for the duel, to change/add a new survivor, and many other suggestions i thought were great idea's. I understand the games now are great for new players but the older players on here are getting bored and i just hope you can change it up so we all can stay and enjoy this site.
Im on my 3rd year on this site and have so many amazing memories, but this site doesnt cut it anymore, kind of done with it, it almost feels like i am watching paint dry.
People can keep asking for the duel back, but Randomize was right in taking it away, no one played it except for the same 15-20 people. It was pointless, i'd be all for creating an I Love Money game though
i agree Mike Survivor8 but the other points are right on ') see how i remember u, old times, times when u went into a game to meet someone and u actually got to know them, so many vets are leaving and i understand why ;)
Agreed seana86. I joined in January of 2010, and it used to be so fun, till the trolls decided to overrun the site. The Duel should be brought back because that's how I practiced challenges...it was good for shit players like me LOL. Also, the moderation team needs a MAJOR overhaul. No offense, but half the time the mods aren't even on. I understand they have a life, but I think he needs more than just a couple of mods.
100% Agree with this, I feel like when I first came on this site it was more about getting to know people and actually competing.
Now it's just who can join the most games in 1 day and people consistently joining with premades to win frookies, and so much karma hungry people and you literally can't even play a game with people just to talk to them, all the games are full of spam.
I don't understand why everyone is blaming "trolls". This site has almost zero to none of them. If you ask me what's ruining it are all these prissy little 14 year olds who like to start drama and are only concerned about designs and their popularity.
It was different 3 years ago. I think new ranks would spice things up. I also think players just naturally leave after a certain amount of time because our personal lives change.
I agree (this isn't my first account but I joined in late '09). Back then, people were fun to talk to in castings, quick games didn't exist. Emmeleigh was #1 and it was such a big deal to be black level. I miss it .-. which is why I rarely play
Well times change and you either adapt or leave. No point harking for a time now gone. Randomise can't change your perception of the site. If you don't like how it operates then change how you engage in the site, talk to more people, ignore the trolls don't just write blogs complaining about it.
The site has grown of course it won't have the same "community" feel... Do you know everyone on omgpop? No, it is too big.
he should remove frookies adn fastings. fast games are killing tengaged. when i joined it was duel, survivor,c astings, rookies. thats what he should keep.
I agree and don't really play games anymore. I literally check blogs and write a few out of addiction. I am saving for a shop too, because that is the only thing left that is worth trying n my eyes!
I mean, I still enjoy the site, but not as much as I used to do..I feel like the things that used to be fun are turning old and boring, and I feel like most things are basically the same old, there is nothing new and exciting
I joined just before the Troll/Multi Era. I actually respect the old school people on this site because they are not shop whores/blog whores like Steel
The duel should NOT be brought back because everytime we get it it fills for like a week AND THEN it takes like 24 hours just for one duel to fill. Also, it's always the same people that join.
i agree seana86. even though i dont have much time to play, i think i'd try new games... thing is that i just dont feel like... everything seems to be so dull now :S
been here for 3 years and a half and sometimes i wonder why i am still around... some are left, but most of the people of my generation is gone
The only way Duel should come back is if that damn unenroll button goes. People reallt trolled it and it peed me off. The intention was right though.

The problem with this site is how selfish we people have become.
Back in 08/09, there were no charities, no fast games, no gift giveaways, no reason to excessively mail spam other than Stars.
We've all become quite expectant. We hate every change Rando makes, which he makes for us, based on our input.
We're all so blind.
I don't take things here to heart as much.

You're somewhat right seana86. I've been on this site just over 3 years now. In the last 2 years though I've played less than 10 games. A bit was to do with games but also as diva1 said it also goes with personal lives changing and circumstances. I also just don't have as much time on here now. But definitely do miss the old days where I knew people and had good relationships. Now I know hardly any of the players.
great blog seana86! I totally agree with you, but the problem is randomize NEVER listens! I emailed him about a serious problem and resent the email a couple days later just to make sure he got it... and like he does on the site... no email back from randomize. He picks and chooses what he wants to address, instead of filtering the problems down to someone who can handle it or replying back to the site as a WHOLE to inform us why a problem cant be fixed. I appreciate this site and many people in it but I really think the problem here is having someone PAY ATTENTION to the site and the concerns of the users. THERE I am done ranting :p I also agree with diva1 in the fact of people just moving on
What the hell is randomize supposed to do here? "We need something new" -- okay, then give an actual /suggestion./ He's not some magic fucking administration-wizard who can tell exactly what people want. If you're just gonna bitch without offering actual suggestions, then leave
i think it's really fine the way it is. randomize has a full time job and he really does not have time to constantly make changes to tengaged (and it's really not like doing a lot of the stuff you've mentioned is as simple as a click of a button for him). i am still, on a daily basis, impressed with the level of strategic complexity that the hunger games offers and if you're already saying that it's boring, then it's just going to dishearten him from making new games even more.
the only thing i would like to see is a more permanent fix to stars glitches and stuff, but i don't think it's fair to attack him for not doing more than that

I've been here on various multi's since the very beginning, I loved it when this site started but it's become so very boring lately and HG is so ridic that the same people get in all the time. I would love something new because I feel like we deserve it so much to the people that stuck around < 3 Randomize.
tinabeena and I joined in the same month believe it or not, and even though it was January 2010 when I came here, it still was much better than what it is now. I do understand the 08/09 people being pissed also because I'd assume those two years were better than 2010.

It goes without saying that new games are required - but this site is very much successful because of the people on the site and the way they're all connected. It's very much a personal place, as soon as this site becomes more about the fun games rather than the fun people, it'll fall like omgpop did when those "fun" games become boring and playing the same aul shite with strangers is no longer your cup of tea. There are a lot of improvements to be made - but changing the identity of the website will quite simply never happen under Randomize as the amount of active users continues to increase gradually. His stubbornness is rather impressive in that regard.
I agree yet again 2cool4school, but is it too much to ask for more color levels, or even a blog once a month from Carlos, idc if it says "hey", any kind of interaction with us is all we are asking for. I think the people that have been here for a long time and LOVE this site as i do would love a little communication, i don't think it takes much to update us. I also don't think (and i'm not a techy girl, so forgive me if im wrong) to add more color levels. Again something tengaged would go crazy about. However u have to admit the multis are getting out of hand, some ppl have 5-9 (this was confirmed from someone that is a mod) and that is not ok.

I was the very same as you a few years back - when Black level was the highest I sent him a proposal for new colour levels and he actually responded and liked the idea, and hey presto.. they arrived! Considering this is the top blog, he'll almost certainly have read the views but more colour levels will be a never ending thing - he surely has to switch it to levels or something at this stage(i.e TV Star = Level 15), just so people can continue to grow on the site in a game related way which is important. Interaction with the site is difficult because he does get a lot of abuse (of which I was once apart of) and sometimes it's better the owner/manager doesn't interact. Information of future updates on a more consistent basis shouldn't be out of the question though. Multi's have and will always be here, since the dawn of this website. People love to troll, especially young people (the target market for this website) It's something that can be more strongly discouraged, but it's not easy to deal with on any website Randomize
