Season 5 is my favorite season of amazing race (although i desperately need to re-watch it) because of the great characters, the drama, and i felt so connected to pretty much every team. Karen and Linda are no exception. Yes, they had their own little gimmick being bowling moms, but what i loved is how that did not at all ever become their persona that was shoved down our throats. *glares at 90% of current TAR teams* They were simply best friends that wanted to go have an adventure together that just so ~happened~ to be bowling mothers.
Anyways, in and of themselves they were amazing. They were semi-bottomgoddesses and thank goodness they got non-eliminated < 3 Their laugh gets me every time lol they were just so high spirited, positive and amazing. They were great foils to a lot of charla and mirna development, but they had their own growth of themselves. Their elimination sequence is among the saddest i can think of. Linda or Karen struggling on the climbing watching every team pass them, just for them to get to the bottom, in last, sure of their elimination, to the reassurance and great attitudes that had pushed them along the whole race, ugh they are amazing. I dont normally feel so much during amazing race eliminations but that is definetly one of the saddest amazing race moments ever < /////// 3
