for those of u that know about my son and would like to know how he is doing...he was supposed to come home on monday but had gotten some high blood sugar readings (300 - 400) so he had to stay in the hospital. the doctors finally got the levels back to normal last night and he has been doing well so the doctor says if everything stays good he will get to come home sometime between today and saturday...so hopefully i will be back to being able to get back online more soon. thanks to everyone that has been asking ans wondering how he is doing - it's been tough and i am tired but glad things r getting better and he may get to come back home finally
this is for all my friends on tengaged i just wanted to let u know that u may not hear from me for a few days...my oldest son has been sick lately..he lost like 60 pounds in a week...today i went to the church to help out and my sons gf called and told me leighton was really cuz she was talking to him and he said he had to throw up and then he would not answer his phone for almost an hour...so i came home to check on him and he was laying on the bathroom floor in a pile of vomit...i had to pick him up and clean him then dress him and take him to the hospital.
unicornangel_32: the doctor thought it was apendisitis at first and ran a bunch of tests. found out he was extremely dehydrated...extremely under weught and that he has type 1 diabetis
unicornangel_32: they tried to stabalize him but they could not and had to air life him to santa rosa hospital in san antonio...picu...they finally staballized him but he is really pale and they have to check him every 2 hours..he will be in the hospital at least til monday. they did say it wasn't cuz of his diet r whatever but because his body was not prioducing the insulin that it should be. he was sleeping when i left and they say they want to try to take him off the iv tomorrow and get him to eat something then they have to get the acid out of his system (as he has a lot of acid in his system)..then they have some 24 hour tests they need to run and then he has to take some kind of diabetis classes . that is all i know for sure right now but he can use all the prayers he can get

sorry to all that messaged me group r blog reguests and i didn't answer. i was in the hospital but i am back. i had a heart attack..the doctor changed my heart medicine but i have to go in october and may have to have a catheter run from a vein in my leg to my heart to see what is going on and then may have to have surgery to remove a valve that may be causing me trouble and have a new valve put in so it may be a while b4 i get into any groups just becuz i would hate to join thaen have to leave to go though surgery.
i am in a group game called freshmeat and we have to make a blog about y we deserveto remain in the game. also, we need the most ppl to vote. my partner in the game is zed55 and i think we deserve to be in the game cuz we have tried hard and we have had to vote ppl into exile that we didn't want to so we could get farther in the game. I almost lost two friends becuz of the game and even thought about quitting at one time but i stayed cuz if friends decide not to like u cuz of a game then there is not much u can do about it...zed and i work hard to try to win challenges but we r up against so tough competitors so we have not done very well but we keep trying and hope to end up winning due to working hard together as a team and doing our best.

i went to my heart doctor today and he looked at my last tests results and saw i had been having small heart attacks and wants me to rest a lot and go to the hospital wednesday (where i will be almost all day) and have more tests done to see if i am still having them...i am hoping everything will be ok but i wanted all my friends to know y i am not online and that if everything goes ok i should be back on by thursday. i have a mild vavle prolapse and it causes a lot of problems with my heart but ididn't know i was having small heart attacks until today..i thought it was just pains from my heart not pumping right - it was upsetting to find out i was having small heart attacks that could have turned major at any time
