I just felt I had to post this. Ok so I came home today to be told by my mum that BA are going on strike the day we are supposed to be going to Africa on holiday at easter.
My dad used to work oor BA but has left now and so we get staff tickets and have done my whole life and I have always loved BA, but now I HATE them, I hate them all.
I need to be in Africa, I have my A-levels coming up after easter and I revise so much more when I am there than when I am here, as my friends are not there and there is no TV and i only have my laptop in the evening. I will fail my A-levels without going.
We are hanging on and hoping that we will somehow get there as it is still possible they may not strike, but very unlikley. Really really hate them for doing this to me. It was the only thing I was looking forward to and now its gone. :-( We tried to find other airlines but they have all put there prices up so they are stupidly expensive or they have already sold out of tickets. I really hope this gets sorted out soon I need this.
