About Mercedes Marquez:
She's a 26 year old nightclub go-go dancer and mother of two from Costa Rica. Life's been tough for Mercedes, having been born in a poor, rinky-dink pueblo as the fourth of five children, getting knocked up at the age of 17 by her at-the-time boyfriend, who did nothing but sell drugs. Caught by police in a gangbanger shootout, Mercedes' husband was imprisoned, leaving her alone to raise her two children, Consuelita and Carlitos. She's tough, crude, observant, street-smart, instinctive, and loyal.

Real Life:
They say I am quite a character, nabbing me the award "Interesting Conversationalist" for two years. I'm into movies, especially indie/foreign films, and plan on doing the movie biz thing. I'm a good speller. I'm a nice guy with cynical, dry, and sarcastic thoughts/comments. People think I have no human feelings because of those, but it's just wit. Having fun is what I do.
