Hello, my name is Wren and, contrary to popular belief, I am not a man.

I'm a writer and anthropologist, though I've done a lot of weird and varied jobs. I've worked as a bookbinder, a constructor in a box factory, a film broker, a copy editor, a carver, a paid historical reenactor, a museum curator, a typest, and a dog-walker, among many many other things.

I'm from New York City. I live in a legit tenement building in the Bowery, and I love it. I've also called northern Michigan and Chicago home. I have the horrible habit of moving house every 8 or 9 months and have done so since I was 15. I'm a true nomad.
