Addie, Katalia, and Kitty were walking from Vixella’s house, which turned out to be on the other side of town from the theaters.
Addie: It’s so nice of you to walk us home Kitty.
Kitty: Well, what can I say? I know these streets because I’ve lived amongst them for a while until I was taken in.
Katalia: I noticed you mentioned that before, but you never told us who it was who took you in in the first place.
Kitty: (shrugging) I didn’t think it was really that important to tell you.
Katalia: Fair enough, but you should tell us your story at some point. We’d love to know more about you.
Addie: Gotta agree with Kat on that one. (winks at Katalia) At least we’re not as cheesy as Annihilator was.
All three girls burst out laughing.
Kitty: Oh my God that was terrible! The one line that saved it from being a total abomination was Annihilator demanding “Don’t make me punch you”! Other than that, I think Spencer should give us a refund.
Katalia: I’d have to agree with you there, but her, at least it gave us something to laugh about!
Addie: (sees her house one house away) Alright girls, this is where I get off! See ya later!
Kitty and Katalia: Bye Addie! Have a good day!
Addie goes up the stone path to her front door, waves to her friends, and walks into the house.
Addies’ father: Addie! Is that you?
Addie: Yes dad! It’s me!
Addie’s father came out of the kitchen with a piece of paper and a pen.
Addie’s father: Look! I know it’s been tough on you with those auditions.
Addie: Dad! Can we not talk about that?
Addie’s father: Now hold on! I have an idea of how you can finally get that voice of yours to shine.
Addie: (blankly) Does that explain what you have in your hand?
Addie’s father: (matter-of-fact tone) Actually, yes! Yes, it does! I went over to the West End Music Theater and picked you up a job application. Apparently the CEO there is really impressed with your voice as well and wants an interview with you as soon as you fill this out.
Addie’s father hands Addie a job application.
Addie: Oh, okay? Thanks dad! Was anyone else there when you went?
Addie’s father: Yeah, there was, but there’s always people in that place. It’s a fucking theater for crying out loud. (laughs)
Addie began to suspect her father was hiding something based on his answer, but she figured it best not to ask and began on the job application.
--End Scene—
Spencer stayed a while longer at Vixella’s house, cleaning up the mess the girls made.
Spencer: (as he is sweeping the floor) I still can’t believe you have that.
Vixella: (gives Spencer a perplexed look) I beg your pardon?
Spencer: That you actually have a copy of Annihilator in your possession. It’s not supposed be out to own for another month.
Vixella: Amazing what you can do with extraordinary gifts.
Spencer, confused about what Vixella was saying, paused what he was doing and looked at Vixella as if she were crazy.
Spencer: What are you going on about?
Vixella: Before I answer that question, you have to promise me one thing.
Spencer: And that would be?
Vixella gave Spencer a foreboding look that chilled Spencer to the bone.
Vixella: You are not to ever tell anyone what happened or what I am about to reveal to you.
Spencer: (suspiciously) And what if I do?
Vixella: (her voice much darker than usual) Then I’ll have to kill you.
That froze Spencer in his tracks. He couldn’t believe he was in Vixella’s proximity being threatened by an old woman, but one look at Vixella told Spencer that she was no ordinary old woman. It told him that she was no one to be trifled with and that he better heed her warnings or else.
Spencer: Okay then. I won’t tell.
Vixella: Good. Now watch closely.
Vixella held out her right hand with her palm facing up. Spencer watched, anxious with anticipation. Slowly, a dark aura came out of Vixella’s palm and began to levitate. It grew out of Vixella’s palm until a dark mass the size of a normal cookie floated completely above the palm of her hand.
Spencer: Whoah!
Vixella: Yeah.
The dark mass faded back into nonexistence as Spencer continued to watch in awe.
Spencer: (amazed at Vixella’s “gift”) So what was that?
Vixella: That, Spencer, is the next stage in our evolution. One day, we will all be like this. It is nature’s way of saying “we need a change”.
Spencer: Wait a minute. So you’re telling me that THIS, what you just showed me right here, is going to be me?
Vixella: (shaking her head before answering) Not you specifically, but in time, this will become human nature. It has only been going on for several centuries, and it will take more centuries, maybe even millennia more, but one day, this will be what the human race will become. We all have different abilities to showcase this, and mine happens to be what you just saw.
Spencer: The darkness?
Vixella: (nodding) That’s right. That’s how I can do things like retrieve things that haven’t been released yet. But remember, you can never tell anyone about this.
Spencer: I won’t.
Vixella: That is good. You may go.
Spencer bowed and took his leave.
--End Scene—
Shawn walked out of med school. The rest of the day had been pretty boring, but he figured he knew what he needed to do for his first assignments. However, his mind wondered back on that picture, much like it did any other time he was on his own. Something about it gnawed at him, refusing to let go, and it was beginning to give him a headache.
Shawn: Oh my God.
Shawn put a hand to his head as the headache began to make itself more and more known.
Shawn: (screaming at the air with both hands on his head) LEAVE ME ALONE!
Shawn didn’t notice it, but he could feel something grow out of his shoulder blades. What it was, he did not deign to try to figure out as his head continued to throb with memories of his past.
???: Shawn?
Shawn came back to himself and turned to see Saara looking over to him.
Shawn began to run away from Saara as fast as he could, still trying to process what was going on, but at the same time not wanting her to see what he was going through. Whatever had grown out of him, they had lifted him ever so slightly off the ground, but only for a few seconds at a time, as if struggling to wake up. After the second time he landed on the ground, he could see himself in headlights just before a car smacked into him, sending him knocking down onto the ground. It wasn’t long before Saara pulled up in her own car. Saara got out of her car and ran over to his side.
Saara: Shawn! (her voice getting louder as she got closer) Shawn!
Shawn: (faintly) Wha- what? Why?
Saara: Don’t ever run off like that on me again! Let’s get you fixed up.
Before Saara could lift Shawn off the ground though, Shawn could feel himself get better, as if he was never hurt at all. He looked down to his side where the other car had hit him. There was no scratch. Just skin. Did his body just heal itself? He did not know.
???: Is everything alright with you lovebirds down there?
The voice belonged to the driver of the car that had hit Shawn.
Shawn: Yeah. I’m good.
Driver: Then get the fuck out of my way next time, you idiot! And control those fucking chicken wings of yours on your back!
Shawn looked at the driver confused as if he felt for what he was talking about, only to feel that he had indeed sprouted feathery wings from his shoulder blades.
Shawn: I did WHAT!?

Brooke had gotten back home from Albany a few hours after Alycia had dropped her off. She had carried a gallon of milk from a shopping errand she self-imposed to help her deal with the fact that her mother was dying. It didn’t do much to help her alleviate the pain though. She knew once she walked back home, she would have to deal with her father, a man she had desperately wanted to get away from. She walked in the door and made her way to the kitchen, putting the milk away.
???: At least you did something useful for once.
Brooke turned in shock, realizing her father had noticed she had walked in while finished a beer he was holding in his right hand.
Brooke’s father: What’s the matter? Cat got your tongue?
Brooke stuttered, trying to figure out what to say or do in fright. Before she could do anything though, a beer bottle was chucked right at her. She reacted fast enough to avoid getting the brunt of the impact, but she was still hit and she felt a sharp pain on her right shoulder.
Brooke’s father: That’s for going out of town on your own, you bitch! You know DAMN WELL you are not to leave town without my say-so! Now get over here before I have to make it harder than it has to be!
Brooke couldn’t do anything but comply. As she approached her father, he all of a sudden grabbed her by the wrist and dragged her over to the living room, throwing her onto the couch. She could recover only long enough to be pounced on by her father. She could feel her father’s hand make a grab for her beltline and feel his hand began to slide into her pants, but before he could go any further, Brooke lifted her knee as hard as she could and kicked him in the genitals.
Brooke’s father: GAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU’RE GOING TO FUCKING PAY FOR THIS!
As her father took his hand out of her pants to grab onto his crotch, Brooke used her chance to run away from her father, galloping out of the house while he was down.

A door opened to Zela’s mansion to reveal Jarvis answering the door.
Mac: (cheerfully) Alfred!
Jarvis: It’s Jarvis.
Mac: (just as cheerfully) Whatever!
Jarvis: (rolls his eyes) I presume you’ve come to visit Ms. Zela Ivine?
Mac: No! I wanted to go to Sri Lanka! OF COURSE I WANT TO SEE ZELA!
Jarvis: (annoyed) Well, Zela is busy at the moment. Maybe if you didn’t shout like a gorilla, then I’d keep you company on the front porch and offer you tea.
Zela’s voice: You’re getting the refreshments anyway butler! I’m thirsty. And who is our guest?
Mac: Ma—
Zela’s voice: I didn’t ask you, you cretin.
Jarvis: It’s Mac, mademoiselle!
Zela’s voice: Oh! I’ll be out in just a second then!
Mac was visibly annoyed that Zela shot down his answer. Did she think he was not capable of making his own decisions? He was beginning to wonder why he came. He took a seat in one of three chairs on the front porch and took a deep breath. Working at the diner for him was always something that tired him since he always got stuck with the morning shift, and the fact he already had to go to one class earlier did not help things either. He figured by visiting Zela, someone he had known ever since he was little, maybe he could finally settle down.
A few minutes later, Zela came out of the front door, wearing fancy clothing and took a seat on one of the other chairs. Right as she sat down, Jarvis came out with two cups of tea.
Jarvis: There you are mademoiselle! A cup of tea for you and one for our guest.
Zela: (nodding in approval) Very good. Leave the kettle in case I want to have some more.
Jarvis: As you wish, mademoiselle!
Jarvis took his leave, and once he was out of sight, Zela turned her gaze to Mac.
Zela: So. Why are you here?
Mac: It’s been another tiring day at the diner.
Zela: (rolls her eyes) Of course. The fucking diner. What a surprise!
Mac: I have something else too.
Zela: (now interested) What is it?
Mac: Apparently a “Missing Person” report has gone out for some man and a woman. Here.
Mac produced a poster from his bag and handed it to Zela. The look Mac saw on Zela’s face turned angrier.
Zela: Where did you get this?
Mac: Oh, someone randomly gave it to me at the diner. I think it was some lady in her early 50’s named Christine? I don’t know. I heard she works at a theater, but I’m not too sure.
Zela bolted up out of her chair and walked straight over to Mac, lowering her face to his eye level.
Zela: Okay, Mac. I’ve thought of a special job just for you.
Mac: What do you want me to do?
Zela: I want you to find me more information on who this “Christine” is, and I promise you, your rewards will be great.
Mac: (cocks an eyebrow at Zela, interested) What kind of rewards?
Zela’s hand lightly grabbed onto Mac’s crotch.
Zela: These kinds. (withdraws her hand from Mac’s crotch) Now. Do I make myself clear?
Mac: Crystal.
Zela: Good. Now go.

In the cafeteria, Daniel sat at a table. Lunch for him was chicken tenders, fries, and chocolate milk. He had felt like he had needed some extra protein and other vitamins as of late, so he’s cut soda out of his diet and replaced it with milk.
Daniel: (quietly to himself) That book. Why did it turn green for me? What is happening to me?
These questions plagued his mid as he ate away at his lunch. He looked at a TV that was placed in a corner of the cafeteria. The news was on, giving away the weather report. It didn’t seem like much to him since he knew it was going to be much the same weather it has been every early fall.
Reporter: We now turn it over to you Carla!
Carla: Thank you George. Well Breaking News, there has been a car accident on Highway 552 between Albany and the small town of Underwood. The driver has been reported to be Alycia Anderson…
At the mention of Alycia’s name, Daniel’s head popped up to glare at the television and the television he was seeing the news from gained a green aura with blue surrounding any bits regarding Alycia.
Carla: …Alycia was not seen at the scene of the accident and looks to have been carried away by someone else. The windshield of the car appears to be “frozen”, believe it or not, and the car itself is reportedly getting towed back to Underwood. Alycia Anderson has been put on the Missing Person watch and any reports of her sightings should be contacted to authorities.
Daniel: Albany… Why would she be in Albany?
Daniel woke up from his trance, dumped the remaining into the container his chicken tenders came from, closed the lid to his milk along with that, and stuffed all his food items into his bag before bolting out of the cafeteria.
--End Scene—
It was the smell of darkness that ruled existence. Everything felt at peace. All there could be was nothingness. The quiet was like death.
A vision began to pour out. The owner looked down to find this was Alycia’s vision. Alycia looked right back up and saw someone she once knew.
Alycia: Alex?
“Alex” turned to meet her gaze.
???: No, not Alex.
At that moment, Zela came to the man side wearing no clothing, taking him by the chin, turning it to face her, and made out with him.
Zela: (turning back to face Alycia) His name is now Axel.
Axel: Why sis? Why did you fail us?
At that moment, Alycia could see a half-burnt face from her brother, Alex or Axel, whatever his name was. Then Alycia looked slightly to her left to see Kitty without her right eye, Katalia holding her decapitated head, Addie and Saara aged in wheelchairs, both of them with holes in their throats where their voice boxes used to be, and Shawn split into two halves of his body. As they all began to walk closer to Alycia, it began to snow.
All: Why Alycia? Why did you fail us?
Alycia shook her head.
Alycia: No! No, this is not happening!
???: Why do you deny our existence? Are you afraid of your own shame?
The snow began to fall harder now, but to her right came Mac with a sword impaling his brain and coming out from behind his chin, Vixella with devil’s horns coming out of her head and a nearly severed arm, Jarvis with only one leg as the other one was being eaten by a nearby dog, Christine also having a nearly severed arm, and Spencer with a spear lodged inside his abdomen.
All: Again, Alycia, why did you fail us?
Alycia: I didn’t! This isn’t true!
???: Are we not true?
The snow fall harder still as she Beckett with his head turned backward, JJ sporting half-eaten flesh, and Daniel whose head was now located where he stomach used to be.
All: Why did you fail us Alycia?
Alycia: No! STOP!
???: How can we stop? You have done nothing for us.
Alycia looked besides and there was Brooke, 8 months pregnant.
Brooke: Because you did nothing to help me when I needed you the most, I am stuck with a rape child for life. You have failed us all.
The snow turned into a harsh blizzard as the temperature dropped to absolute zero, freezing the air except for everyone around Alycia.
All: You have failed us Alycia! Why did you fail us Alycia?
Alycia: No! No!
Zela: You have failed us.
Axel: You have failed us.
Daniel: You have failed us.
Brooke: Your punishment is long overdue.
All: YOU HAVE FAILED US!
Alycia: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Alycia screamed as everyone pinned Alycia down. Every hand began to tear into her body, ripping at her insides. She could see Katalia eating her intestines, Jarvis feasting on her fingers, Mac devouring her left foot, and even Brooke tore out her heart and chomped on it. Axel used a sword made of ice to decapitate Alycia.
Axel: Shall we babe?
Zela: (nodding) She has failed us.
Alycia: (screams as she sees Zela gouge out her eyeballs)
Her sweat froze in her face as she woke up from her nightmare. She looked around and realized that she was only dreaming, but even though she was glad to still be alive and have all her body parts in tact, that was when she had realized that she did not recognize where she was.
Alycia: Huh? Where… am I?

What kind of direction do you think the friendship between Addie, Katalia, and Kitty will take as the season goes on?: I feel as if Kitty will become the outcast of the three, however they all share similar traits so it wouldn't surprise me if they grow as a group.
What do you make of Addie’s father so far, and why do you think he chose not to reveal to Addie about seeing Saara at the theater when he gave his daughter the job application?: I feel as if Addie's father knows of the tension between the two and to limit the drama he wasn't to avoid this scenario as long as possible.
Why did Vixella choose to reveal to Spencer her powers and the future of the human race?: Spencer's powers will develop, Vixella knows this and in the future I think she's looking towards survival instead of power. With Spencer she could start building on that.
What do you think of Shawn’s situation?: He's like an Angel character from the X-Men Series haha!
Why did Brooke’s father try to rape her and what do you think about Brooke’s escape?: I enjoyed the escape, however I feel the Father has a sort of dominating manner about him. I feel as if he has done it before, I do hope we get to revisit him in future as part of Brooke's storyline.
What will Mac’s visit with Zela lead to?: At this current stage I definitely feel as if Zela is being put into the scenario in which she'll become the stories villain.
Will Daniel be able to find Alycia?: I want to say no, I feel with the loss of eachother it may expand on their powers on finding eachother in the future.
What did you think of Alycia’s nightmare and what do you think she can do to prevent it from becoming a reality?: What I always see for premonitions such as this (Relating to my Story w/ Iris) is that visions always unfold like they're meant to, the ending will always be the same but the path to how you get there can be changed. I feel her vision will ultimately play out the ways its meant too but she may be able to alter things leading towards it.
Favorite/Least Favorite Characters: I'm enjoying Brooke, Alycia & Vixella from this episode.
However, I do hope we get to re-explore Brooke's father as I find him to be a nice little throw-in episodic villain.
What do you think will happen next?: I feel the next few episodes will explore Alycia's vision and continue to expand on why Vixella needs Spencer.

The snow falling harder and harder gave me the chills for real! So here comes my theory about Vixella. Alycia saw her with devil horns, which I believe means that she is not the person she appears to be. I think she is evil and will manipulate Spencer in some way. She has dark powers after all. Also seeing Brooke pregnant remind me of her father, when he tried to rape her. Sadly I think he will succeed if Alycia don't do something :(

What kind of direction do you think the friendship between Addie, Katalia and Kitty will take as the season goes on? I could see Kitty slowly moving away from Addie and Katalia out of fear possibly or their friendship gets stronger with truth
What do you make of Addie's father so far, and why do you think he chose not to reveal to Addie about seeing Saara at the theater when he gave his daughter the job application? I mean he's only trying to help out his daughter so i can't hate him for that and I think because he didn't want her to not do it just cause of her
Why did Vixella choose to reveal to Spencer her powers as the future of the human race? Because she can tell that Spencer will be important and useful later on
What do you think of Shawn's situation? Pretty cool since he's getting wings but I guess he could be freaked out by it
Why did Brooke's father try to rape her and what do you think about Brooke's escape? I think he tried to rape her because he has angry issues and can't control them and her escape from ICONIC!
What will Mac's visit with Zela lead too? Zela becoming the main villain of the show and maybe a bit of action for Mac and Zela but nothing serious
Will Daniel be able to find Alycia? I think so, I think he's be able to find her in the last minute that she needs him
What did you think of Alycia's nightmare and what do you think she can do to prevent it from becoming a reality? That nightmare was creepy af, like seriously creepy! I think she will have tests that she needs to complete throughout the series in order for them not to become a reality
