So, I just got eliminated from my first Casting. Pretty frustrating...I thought I had everything set up with my alliances, but clearly not. Still, I think I have learned some valuable lessons...and since I can't bloody do anything else on this site other than blog for the next 4 days, expect a lot of blog postings :P
Lesson 1) Don't absolutely trust anyone.
Simply put, we are all on here to win a game - expecting to trust anyone in a game like this is nuts. We make deals..but, as Ronald Reagan liked to say, we should "trust, but verify". Likewise, I need to learn to check up on what my alliance partners have and have not done.
Lesson 2) Post like a maniac
Although frustrating, it is true that in this game, short posts are valued more than long ones if divided up by the amount of time put into each post. Especially on inconveniently timed days, therefore, I need to learn to post *any* thought that comes to mind in order to avoid the nomination.
Lesson 3) Make alliances sooner rather than later.
I waited until after the first elimination to start reaching out to people for potential deals. This was potentially my downfall - there seems to be no real stigma behind making early deals around here, so I should have been making connections day 1. Ah, well...live and learn.
Any suggestions on anything to do around here since I can't sign up for another bloody game yet?

2) Yes. Do that when people are plussing. That way, if you post two comments for every comment one person posts, you're really getting two points when they plus.
plussed and it depends opn how long they take....depends on how long the group owner takes to organize the questions and such...rules depend on the group just have to stay active or they eliminate you fast
