The film, starring Saoirse Ronan, is about a young Irish girls who immigrates to Brooklyn in the mid-1900s.
It has all the symptoms of a movie that'd usually bore the fuck out of me, but for some reason I loved it. It was enjoyable, well acted, and quite touching; really puts into perspective how hard the life of an immigrant was before airlines, cell phones, the Internet, etc.
I got teary eyed at least 3 different times too, it was pretty rad.
Have really strong urges to pee somewhere that isn't the toilet? Like if it weren't cold as balls outside, I'd probably pee off the deck onto my roommate's Mustang.
Well, maybe not actually, but I want to. Really badly.
