After losing the immunity challenge, there was paranoia between the likes of Kelly Goldsmith and Edgardo, who were scrambling to get alliances. It was clear that most of the girls, Kelly W, Kelly B, Heidi and Julie want to get rid of their weak links, Sundra or Peih-Gee, while Peih Gee wanted to gain the trust of Cindy, who was seen as a free agent in camp, and band together to get out Kelly Goldsmith. The guys, unaware of the girls alliance wanted to split the votes, decided to target Sundra, who was quite useless in the challenge, but Ian and Ted saw different. They saw Edgardo trying to lure others aside for conversations, which brought them to doubt Edgardo's actions. They tried to convince Terry and Paschal, the older men, that Edgardo was playing them like puppets. After that, they set off for tribal.
