Well explain why pro gun states have less death by guns than strict gun law states like Chicago? Also are you that dumb to think that if guns were banned criminals wouldn't have guns? Hi there. If you think the issue is much deeper than the easy access to guns for those who do suffer from illnesses is an issue. Most shooters act form rage, and anger, and more than likely has easy access to automatic weapons.
I'm not saying to ban guns, just enact stricter policies. Good people can still get guns, it'll help stop those who are bad from getting them. And you say that people will still get them? Why not add one more obstacle to stop people? Like why just make it EASY for bad people to get guns? Most of these shootings happen with EASILY OBTAINED, LEGALLY OBTAINED, AUTOMATIC WEAPONS?? And these also happen in PUBLIC places, where those who have guns legally are not carrying them. By letting these gun restrictions be so leniant, we are allowing those who are mentally ill so to say, get guns and shoot places up easily.

That statement, with the MILITIA part, helps to indicate that the right for a well regulated militia of people and their right to own guns shall not be infringed. Our militia, is our military, showing that us the people, do not NEED to carry and hold guns. Thus, if stricter laws were introduced, there would be no infringement as a well regulated militia would still be in place.
Well the issue lies with mental health and how prevalent it is in todays society also Rap music plays a huge role in gun violence as well not to mention the shadiness that goes on in the fbi and cia where they allow and even create these monsters for some hidden agenda and political and financial gain. Also can I bring up the point that there are mass shooters that were killed by another armed citizen and because of that prevented higher death count
Also you are reading the second amendment wrong it is saying we have the right to a militia for our security and then it goes on to say that we as citizens have the right to bear arms thats what it means
