I should start by saying that I love campy low budget horror films, typically from the 80's, almost as much as I love a big blockbuster or an oscar winner. The problem is I have this weird love/hate confusion about most endings to the first style of film I described and other movies where people die one after another i.e. Anaconda... and other films I don't know about. The point is they typically always have this ending where they kill the killer or monster or both that has been chasing them the whole movie, two people survive, either the two you expected or two completely random people and then they tell a joke and laugh! All your friends just died except the guy you never talk to or love and then you had to kill the killer or monster, probably like 7 times, and he literally is still burning in the corner of the frame after you had to light him twice and shoot him and you go straight to "so you think the professor will believe me if I say the killer ate my homework." the best part is the joke is usually really that lame, but they crack up laughing, happy music starts and credits roll. Over a pile of dead bodies...
