This was no easy task and now I'm beginning to see just how tough running a frat really is. Anyway, after hearing cases from both Teetoo and CrestOfLove on why they should go to Stars, we as a frat are sending our dear friend and brother AJ in. With Season 2 come to an end, it is time to say a farewell to a LONG season! What better way to do that than with an assessment as you cuddle up, trying to get warm in your homes? And speaking of trying to get warm, it was sure a cold time of the year in One Killer as winter was well on its way! It was an insane way to end the season for sure, and now that we have collected ourselves together, let us say goodbye to those we lost in the last 4 episodes of Season 2. There were a lot of deaths, so be prepared for a long Memorium segment.
In Memorium: https://youtu.be/_wSWMgNW4PU Guigi – Sydney Burton – EPISODE 2 – EPISODE 28 – Cause of death: arrowed out by Pink Heels (Viola Washington) Sydney has come a long way AGAIN, but I didn’t really expect her to die here. Of course, I guess I should have since the wound she got weakened her so much she couldn’t escape. But Sydney was a really good character, and even she had a hiccup along the way, she was one of our most well-rounded characters in the cast. MrBird – Matthew Patterz – EPISODE 15 – EPISODE 29 – Cause of death: shot dead by Proxie So, at least matthew didn’t turn into a vile Grinch like I hoped he wouldn’t from last assessment, but his death was probably the lamest death in the entire series. It’s like if you were the main villain of Fable 2.
That’s what Matthew’s death felt like to me. Just the end of that video was how satisfied I was with Matthew’s death. But at least Matthew himself was a decent character. LivvieBoo12 – Olivia Light – EPISODE 1 – EPISODE 30 – Cause of death: slashed in half by a sword I really loved Olivia’s change, and now that she changed, it really got me more sympathetic towards her. I kind of knew she was going to die because of the change, but still. She was robbed and unlike a lot of the people who did die, I will definitely be missing Olivia. You were the best whenever you weren’t killing people. < 3 melindaMrskk – Janel Parrish – EPISODE 25 – EPISODE 30/31 – Cause of death: shot dead by Rebecah Janel was vile and pretty irrelevant. That’s all I really have to say really. You won’t be missed. melindaMrskk – Trina Washington – EPISODE 25 – EPISODE 30/31 – Cause of death: shot dead by Rebecah I kind of wish she didn’t die, to be honest. She had such a mystery to her that I really liked, even if she was a gigantic scumbag, which she was. I still feel like her entrance was a bit late, but whatever. tkoj555 – Proxie Barclay – EPISODE 15 – EPISODE 31 – Cause of death: shot dead by Pink Heels (Viola Washington) He was one of those people who you kind of know was a killer from the start, but it was interesting finding out he was the father to Viola while that lasted. It didn’t stop me from disliking his guts. And to think that I was warming up to him at one point during the season too! You disappointed me Proxie, so I’m not sad you’re dead. Aoki – Chasty Ballesteroso – EPISODE 13 – EPISODE 31 – Cause of death: died in explosion caused by Troy What an idiot to stay behind just so you could get answers from the person about to kill you. And HOW did you still love him ever after the shit he put you through? Ugh! You could have survived Chasty, and you ruined it! Congratulations! But other than that, Chasty really wasn’t that bad of a character. Brayden_ - Troy Barnes – EPISODE 13 – EPISODE 31 – Cause of death: killed himself with a grenade Troy really disgusted me throughout, but none more so than in the second half of the season after he returned. He was vile to the end and I’m glad he won’t be returning for Season 3. Katherinee_ - Rebecah Black – EPISODE 3 – EPISODE 31 – Cause of death: betrayed by Tallulah through stabs in the stomach In the end, I really have come to love Rebecah again. The things she went through for Tallulah only to be stabbed to death by her in the end was just oh so tragic. Unlike last time though, I think this death was her legitimate one. I do not see Rebecah coming back. QueenMichelle – Tallulah Maraschino – EPISODE 3 – EPISODE 31 – Cause of death: shot in the heart by Samantha To be honest, it was time for Tallulah to go. She was such a great character in Season 1 and the beginning half of Season 2 to the point where she was one of the best characters we could have asked for, but as time went by, she grew a lot less likable. It got to the point where I am no longer sad she is gone.
Now on to the survivors, and you know who I am starting with!
Serena Creed – EPISODE 13 – What can I say? Serena has evaded death so many times that had she have died in the final episodes, she probably would have gotten the Award for Most Robbed Female. But I’m glad Serena is so resourceful and I hope she continues to slay in Season 3.
TDBigBrotherLover112 - Elizabeth Caldwell - EPISODE 1 – Elizabeth has been in an up and down roller coaster for me, and of the survivors, she again is the one I liked the least. But she is still a solid character and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for her in Season 3. MrPokeguy9 – Kyle Jackson – EPISODE 14 – To be fair, I did not like Kyle at first, but as the season went by and he went to the hospital, he grew on me. I can’t say he’s the best character still, but I am glad he was able to prove me wrong as the season began to come to a close. Kelly2722 – Samantha Matthews – EPISODE 13 – She’s basically become the new Tori, except better. She was an integral part in exposing Tallulah, but in doing so, she killed her and ran away. With Season 3 coming in, I am excited to see where she goes from here. Aoki – Viola Washington – EPISODE 2 – Oh am I glad she’s back! One of the best characters from Season 1 is back and now she has become Pink Heels! But now that she’s back for Season 3, I would love to know what kind of path Viola is going to take. I hope she isn’t TOO evil ;) I still wanna root for her. Kelly2722 – Tori Matthews – EPISODE 2 – Tori was the one character who I liked in the beginning of Season 1 only for her to fall flat on her face throughout the season. Had I given out “Biggest Fall From Grace” for Season 1, she would have gotten it. She is going to have to redeem herself for Season 3 or she’ll just be another Burt.
And that’ll be it for the characters this season. As always, since this is the end of a season, it is time to hand out some Awards! Now, I totally forgot one Award when I made the Nominations Blog, and that was the Best Newcomer Award. I will remember it for Season 3’s finale though to correct my mistake. A Table of Contents was mailed to Melinda earlier today. Because I’m too lazy and don’t feel like retrieving it, I’m not going to right this second. Anyway, that’s it for Season 2. Now I am ready for Season 3, and let me tell you, I am PUMPED! It seems like all the survivors minus Viola and the Matthews are getting someone related to them, and then some other people: Serena is getting a cousin named Robin, Tallulah is getting a sister named Michelle, Elizabeth has a half-sister named Lacey, and Kyle gets an ex-boyfriend named Jamie. And of course, we’ll have some fresh faces, and coming into the cast for the first time, we have:

I feel like I should give my personal evaluation on each. Dsiagreements are fine, but do try to keep it civil. I’ll be going in order of Grass, Fire, and then Water, and then group them all together. Okay, let’s go!
Starting things off is the Grass Starter Rowlet. Of the 3 Starters, I personally think Rowlet is the cutest of the bunch. I mean, it’s just so adorable. < 3 Thankfully it didn’t suffer from mid-stage Syndrome this time with its evolution into Dartrix, unlike SOME people (looking at you, Quilladin). Instead, Dartrix actually looks really handsome. Also, let’s note that this is the first Starter line to have a secondary Flying-type since Kanto when we had Charizard from the Charmander line. That being said, it gets the Drapion treatment and loses its Flying-type to become Grass/Ghost once it evolves into Decidueye. To be honest, I fucking love the design of Decidueye. It has a Robin Hood feel to it that I really adore, and one of the Disney movies I thought was really cool growing up was, well, Robin Hood, except the titular character was a fox instead of a bird. The change from a Flying-type to Ghost is the most unexpected thing I could have fathomed for the Starters, but it is actually nonetheless a really good choice as even though it loses the Ground Immunity, it gains Immunity to Fighting and Normal. Furthermore, it’s double weakness to Ice is now just a normal weakness and is no longer weak to Rock-types as well as Bug and Poison types and becomes resistant to Electric. To say the least, the Rowlet line really looks promising.
Next, let’s look at Litten and its evolutions. While not quite as adorable as Rowlet, Litten is still quite a cute Pokemon and if it wasn’t so combustible, I’d probably want to snuggle with it. It evolves into Torracat, and to be honest, I like this transformation. It’s a smooth change that I can understand Litten going through to become a Torracat. Of course, but the time it became Torracat, I had already lost any conviction that this could have possibly been a Fire/Poison Pokemon like some analysts said early on about Litten. Then it makes a DRASTIC change when it becomes Incineroar! To be honest, while I did see this coming, I’m not a huge fan. It kinda looks like it came from the movie Kung Fu Panda because it kind of reminds me of Tai Lung from that movie except Incineroar is more of a tiger and not a leopard. lol I DO like though that it is NOT Fire/Fighting like I had feared it was going to be. Like, it was tiring enough when only Blaziken had that type combination, and then we had 3 Starter lines with that type combination. Speaking of, this is the first Generation since Generation 2 where NO Starter line gained the Fighting-type as its secondary type, which I am elated to find out! What this is now is Fire/Dark, meaning that the Fire Starters are the first Starter Group to complete the Fighting/Psychic/Dark trifecta! I don’t think I’ll love Incineroar as much as I did Delphox, but I am hoping that Incineroar will be a good one nonetheless. One wish I do have for this line though is that the Pokedex Color is Black instead of Red. The Fennekin line not being Yellow and instead copping out to Red was really the only thing I didn’t like about that line.
Finally, there’s the Popplio line. This is the Starter that got a lot of hate upon getting its initial form and now people are making apologies towards it now that its final evolution is revealed. Let me just say now that I am NOT one of those people, partly because I never hated on Popplio to begin with. Sure, it was my least favorite of 3 upon looking at all the initial forms, but after Quilladin’s mid-stage Syndrome and… well… Meganium, I think it’s pretty safe to say that Popplio couldn’t really be the worst out there. In fact, Popplio looks like it’s a very happy and fun-loving Pokemon. It evolves into Brionne, and to be honest, its Pokedex number (729) as well as its Pokedex entry were the only things I liked about it now that I had time to think things through. It looked like the Quilladin of Generation 7 because it suffers from mid-stage Syndrome. But if you’re a fan of feminine Pokemon, this will be a real treat for you (not to sound sexist or anything because I’m all forn equal rights). Finally, it evolves into Primarina. It looks majestic, kind of like Milotic back in Generation 3, so I can see why people are regretting their initial hatred towards Popplio. In addition, this Pokemon is Water/Fairy, something I saw coming from even before Sun and Moon was revealed. But what this means is that if you ever wanted a Dragon killer, choose Popplio. Of course, it has to use its initial typing to beat Incineroar because of Fire resisting Fairy-type moves, but in return, Primarina still isn’t weak to Steel, so its only true drawback is that added weakness to Poison. All-in-all, a fine Starter line.
Now as for which one I’ll be choosing, at first, I was sure Litten was going to be my chice, but now I’m gravitating towards Rowlet. Then again, the last time I flocked to pick a Grass Starter, that was back in Generation 2, and if you were following my Bottom 100 coutndown I finished this month, you should know that I HATE Meganium with a fiery passion, so Decidueye, don’t you DARE disappoint me if Rowlet is the first Starter I go with! That being said, I do hope we get the Shauna treatment and we also get the Starter our initial choice was weak to so I can test Primarina out in the same playthrough, or Decidueye if I go with Litten after all. In all fairness, if the Johto Starters get Mega Evolutions, maybe I might finally have the heart to forgive Meganium, but who knows with Sun and Moon?
I am looking forward to the games coming out and with it being just 3 weeks away, it’s still anyone’s game for who I end up loving, hating, and forgiving.
