Sooo my bf and I live 1 hour away (not that far actually). First month he tried to find time to see me as much as possible (me as well of course) but now (month 3) he seems to be totally fine seeing me once a month (which to me is kinda weird, I personally wanna see a person i love more than once a month….). I mentioned it to him of course. We can mostly see each other during weekends (uni on weekdays) but he has plans with friends this weekend and next weekend, so we are basically not gonna see each other for a month. Idk to me a relationship like this is just weird, or is it normal for us to see only once a month? Idk lmao. He also said he doesn’t want the relationship to become an obligation, but likeee seeing someone once a week or maybe once per two weeks shouldn’t feel like an obligation, you should want to see someone you love. Idk Im confused

Relationship in distance are not easy at all. I can see him bothered by the distance. I think you two should talk about it once you meet up again and try to figure a better way to accommodate. If he loves you, he will work with you to find a better solution

I also told him this week I would love to see him after finals (since he has the last final, I told him to let me know after when he has time - he didn’t let me know and made plans with his friends). I get the balance, but its weird that someone who “loves” is totally fine seeing you once a month.
I mean there has to be some kind of compromise. Also always remember if he wants to see you he will make the effort to do so. Worst case scenario, there’s someone who will want to see you more than once a month out there. :)
LOL BROOO. once a month is literally trash. If the drive is only 1 hour difference, you should be seeing each other once a week imo. Maybe once every other week at a max. Once a month, to me, Is a slap to the face. If I told my gf that, she would kill me lol
