NotForsaken I wouldn't say there's only one answer. I would say you could argue a solid case for Richard, Fairplay, or even Jerri. But the notion that anyone besides those three is even close to the greatest villain is laughable. I wouldn't dispute anyone who claimed any one of those three were. Personally I have no idea who I would say is better out of Richard and Jerri (I don't think Jerri is the best ever, but she was the most hated contestant of all time so I absolutely see the argument that she is the best solely for that reason)
Hantz was a true villain in both aspects. He was a notrious villain, and a pure evil villain. The fact you think Hatch is a better villain because he came before Hantz is sad. Because Hantz made a whole new style to the Survivor term of "Villain".
Each had their own unique way of posing as such, but truthfully, there is truly only one that made moves that were actually amazing.
The award easily goes to Hantz. You're not a fan, you're a dumbass. Get rid of your Username, it doesn't go with your knowledge for the game.
hannah_parks so because I do not worship Hantz *shudders* I'm not a fan? I've seen every season, I know how jury management works, which obviously you don't.
zimdelinvasorhannah_parkssurvivorfan1111 Take your Russell debate somewhere else, it's been rehashed enough. Jonny Fairplay is the best survivor villain ever because the fits into the archetype of a villain the best, and that was what the question was the whole time. This is partly inspired by reading Zim's ranking of the best vote-offs a few months ago, and my recent rewatch of PI. But that season is considered the best, and I think a big reason is because the storyline is very clear cut on who the characters were. Rupert was the hero who was cut down in his prime, and Fairplay was the evil villain who rose up in his place. He was detestable, had no morals (literally used his own grandmother to advance in the game multiple times) and most importantly, he didn't win. If Fairplay had won he would have been an anti-hero, but not a villain. Hatch isn't really a villain, especially not to our standards, Russell is just a dick, but he served as an anti-hero in Samoa (can't speak to HvV). Perhaps you could say Jerri, but I think it's to a much lesser extent than Fairplay. He's also a meta-Villain, he disrespects the game so much that he quit when he was in a fairly decent position heading into FvF1.
hahahaha, people who still believe, in 2013, that russell was a noteworthy character for anything besides getting a fuckton of confessionals. i used logic and got over my hantz love like two years ago, i am amazed that some people still haven't and are still on that train
NotForsaken again i'm really not gonna argue fairplay vs richard vs jerri since they're all good picks, but what i will point out is that the reason why he quit was because he had excruciating pain from a face injury thanks to Danny Bonadouche and he wasn't allowed to bring his painkillers~~
zimdelinvasor well yes I knew there was a reason he quit, but I still think it works so well that he did. Just like there's a reason he went in third (he was a threat to win) but the interesting thing is how that works into the meta-narrative of that season
I'M RIGHT. I KNOW I'M RIGHT. I'M PSYCIC :o
