EPISODE 4
"Silent Killer"

Monotapu returned to camp from Tribal Council. Upon arrival, Brad and Jeremy both hugged and thanked Ciera and Jeremy had let her know that she made the right decision. Ciera stated in a confessional that she was shocked to have received Jeremy's idol and that it was the deciding factor which had helped her decide to flip.

Sarah, not afraid to be blunt about the situation, let Ciera know that she thought she (Ciera) had made a big mistake. Brad immediately went on the defensive stating that her and Spencer had quite a history and had allies on the other tribes that ultimately wouldn't have Ciera's best interests in mind. Sarah and Brad had an exchange of words before the tribe went to sleep.

"He's a moron", Sarah said about Brad, frustrated that Ciera had chosen him and Jeremy over her and Spencer.

The next morning, Ciera woke early to spend some time at the beach. She stated that she was in a major position in the game with her idol and that she wasn't afraid to make big moves. "If Brad and Jeremy think they can trust me, they're mistaken. Just because I voted Spencer out with them doesn't mean I'm loyal to them." The camera panned in on Jeremy who had just woken up. Jeremy stated that he wasn't going to ask Ciera about her thoughts pertaining to the idol he had given her just yet but that he hoped he could trust her with it.

At Otuhaka, Hayden and LJ sat in the shelter, watching Kass tend the fire and then go over to the shore. LJ asked Hayden how he could possibly trust Kass, stating that she was an impulsive player who would likely peg herself a "free agent", despite being "aligned" with him (Hayden) and Jaclyn. Hayden agreed with LJ, who then added on that working with Kass wasn't a risk he (LJ) would take. LJ later stated in a confessional that the only thing he could do was attempt to turn his tribemates against Kass by reminding them that Kass was an unpredictable player. Hayden also stated that LJ had brought up good points, and that he was definitely worried about working with Kass.

Hayden later met with Keith and Jaclyn to discuss some of his thoughts surrounding Kass, about how working with her was deemed risky. Keith had agreed with Hayden in that Kass was an unpredictable player and that he "never has a clue what she's talkin' 'bout".

Jaclyn made clear in a confessional that she also worried about Kass but that it wasn't a smart move turning on someone who would more likely work with them than LJ who was another "shady player" that she did not have a good read on.

At Kolovai, Natalie stated that camp life was very tense ever since the confrontation between Tony and Vytas last day. Natalie then went on a walk with Vytas.

"You might want to be careful because if Tony sees you talking with me, he'll go crazy", Vytas joked.
"I don't give a f*ck what he thinks", Natalie stated, "Tony is driving me insane."

Natalie said in a confessional that she liked Vytas and that they shared a good bond, trusting him more than she trusted Tony and Trish but that she had to give the impression that she was on board with Tony or else she would be targeted.

Josh arrived with tree mail, announcing that a reward challenge was coming.

The three tribes arrived to their reward challenge, with Kolovai and Otuhaka surprised to have seen Spencer voted off of Monotapu.

Otuhaka won first place in the challenge, with Kolovai finishing in second. Otuhaka had a choice between a tarp or donuts and pastries. Otuhaka chose the tarp, awarding the donuts and pastries reward to Kolovai. Monotapu went back to camp with nothing.

At Monotapu, Sarah had blamed the loss on Brad, initiating another semi-argument between the two of them. Jeremy rolled his eyes and expressed his frustrations toward the arguments between Sarah and Brad and that if they did not gel in time for the immunity challenge, they would be attending Tribal Council again.

Jeremy went on a walk with Ciera, telling her that he hoped she had appreciated the idol he had given her. Ciera thanked Jeremy one more time, telling him that she would use the idol for their benefit, also adding on that she had trusted Jeremy more than Brad who was rather troubling and more boisterous of a player than Jeremy was.

Ciera later stated in a confessional that she didn't trust Jeremy at all, and had even entertained the thought of idoling Jeremy out of the game with the idol he had given her.

"Despite Brad being annoying, I can out-think Brad", Ciera stated as justification for rather keeping Brad around than Jeremy. "But Jeremy doesn't have to know that", Ciera remarked, smirking.

At Kolovai, Tony was on a manhunt for the idol, and after searching for over a day, he at last found the idol. Tony kissed the idol and stated that it was what he needed. "Good luck getting me out now", he remarked.

Meanwhile, Natalie and Josh held a discussion about their position in the game. They had agreed that they seemed to be in a good position as it seemed that Tony and Trish were against Vytas/Katie, giving them (Nat & Josh) the swing vote power. Natalie remarked that she would have to see how the next few days went before deciding on who it would be more beneficial to side with, even though Natalie personally expressed that she would have liked to see Trish go as it would keep Vytas in the game, along with a past winner in Tony.

Katie joined the Natalie and Josh conversation, only for silence to be ensued. Natalie then also personally stated that even though she liked Katie, she was difficult to read due to her stoic nature.

"Bless her, I mean at least she's trying", Josh joked.

At Otuhaka, the tribe celebrated their newly won tarp, and Keith and LJ immediately went to work on setting the tarp up over their shelter. As the boys worked, Kass stood by the fire criticizing their work, and offering suggestions as how to possibly use the tarp and redesign their shelter.

"That woman gives me a damn headache", Keith declared. "I'm glad I'm not married to her", he added, laughing it off with LJ and returning to work.

Kass then went off to the jungle, annoyed that neither Keith nor LJ had listened to her suggestions.

"If I were a man, they would be quick to listen to me", Kass exclaimed. "But no way two strong guys would ever listen to suggestions from a woman", she added. The tribe went to sleep in their much comfier and drier shelter, with Kass still bitter about not being "respected".

The next morning, Jaclyn arrived with tree-mail, stating that they had an Immunity challenge coming up. "We're probably the weakest tribe physically but hopefully our last win gives us enough confidence to win again", she stated as the tribe headed out.

The tribes arrived at their immunity challenge, all eager to play.

Monotapu and Otuhaka won immunity, sending Kolovai to their first Tribal Council.

Upon returning to camp, Tony and Trish held a meeting to discuss the vote. Tony immediately suggested that Vytas had to go.

"No, the vote has to be Katie", Trish calmly stated.
"What? Katie? No way. She's not a threat!", Tony claimed.
"Yes she is. Think about it Tony, Katie is someone who can easily slide through this game while everyone is busy taking each other out. We need someone like her out because if Vytas blows up again, he can keep the target off your back. I'm only looking out for your best interest, Tony", Trish reasoned.

"Katie and I are very similar", Trish stated in a confessional. "We're both quiet players, difficult to read at times, making it hard to predict when we're going to strike. But there's only room for one silent killer in the game, and that's me", Trish remarked, followed by laughter.

Dumbfounded, Tony retorted, "Is Trish on drugs!?", in his confessional. "Vytas has to go tonight. He is the clear threat."

Later that day, Trish met up with Josh and Natalie to discuss the vote. Josh agreed that he did not have a good read on Katie and that she was merely an extension of Vytas, but an extension that would likely go far in the game if not dealt with properly. Natalie agreed, and privately stated her delight toward the fact that both Trish and Josh would rather see Katie go than Vytas, making her work of saving Vytas that much easier.

Trish joined Vytas and Katie in the shelter. Vytas was upfront, and told Trish that him and Katie were voting for Josh. He offered Trish a peace treaty and stated that tonight's vote was a sign of loyalty and proof that he did not want to go after either her or Tony. Katie agreed, adding on that Josh wasn't over the top as Tony, but a very smart player who could easily get far if he landed in the proper alliance come a merge.

Trish took this information to Josh and Tony as fuel to the fire in order to solidify their votes against Katie. But unfortunately for Trish, it was too late as Tony had gotten Josh to switch his mind and want Vytas out of the game. After some reasoning with Trish, she had forfeited, and agreed to vote for Vytas that night.

Trish brought the news to Natalie about Josh changing his mind, which startled Natalie. However, she told Trish that with the help of Vytas, they could still get rid of Katie. Trish backed up her argument on wanting Katie out over Vytas, and that she would still consider voting Katie that night.

"This confusion with the votes gives me a perfect opportunity to blindside Trish", Natalie stated in a confessional. "If I have Trish voting for Katie, and Tony and Josh voting for Vytas, what's stopping me from teaming up with Vytas and Katie to vote out Trish?"

Natalie quickly met with Vytas before the tribe headed off to Tribal Council, having informed him about the vote.

"I have no clue what's happening tonight", Vytas claimed in the final confessional before Tribal. "Natalie told me what to do, and my only hope is that her 'plan', whatever it may be, works out, and I'm still here after tonight."

TRIBAL COUNCIL

Kolovai arrived at Tribal Council, lighting their torches into the fire for the first time. Jeff complimented Kolovai on their wins to that point, but had asked the tribe what they thought went wrong at the last challenge? Tony claimed that their performance at the last immunity challenge was merely a minor hiccup, and that they would quickly be able to recover. Trish agreed stating that their team was strong both mentally and physically. Jeff asked Natalie whether her status as a previous winner put a target on her back. Natalie agreed with Jeff's claim but stated that having Tony on the same tribe as her balanced out the target due to her previous win, and that everyone had equal targets on their backs as they were after all All-Stars. Jeff asked Katie how she was going to approach tonight's vote. Katie claimed that she was going to stay true to herself, and hope for the best.

The tribe voted.

Nobody had played a hidden immunity idol.

Jeff read the votes.

Katie.

Katie nodded and stood up. Katie and Vytas hugged, with him having whispered "sorry" in her ear. Natalie looked down. Trish smiled. Tony appeared confused.

Katie brought her torch to Jeff, who snuffed it, and sent her off.

Jeff stated that in a complicated vote with three people having gotten votes, Kolovai weren't as close as they appeared. He told them to grab their torches, and sent them off to camp.

sihz Well it was either between teaming up with Katie/Vytas to vote out Trish, or getting Vytas to vote Katie out with her and Trish. I'll discuss her reasoning for going with the latter option next episode.
