"I might be on the bottom but I'm not ready to go home"
Andrew Savage (Cambodia)
You knew it was coming, and here it is. This one doesn't need much of an explanation because it's still fresh in everyone's minds, but I'll provide a brief one anyway:
What makes Wentworth's idol play so satisfying is the fact that Savage had possibly the biggest sense of self-righteous entitlement of anyone in the entire game, believing he was going to waltz to his second-chance win and then get sucked off by Jeff Probst at the Reunion. That and the fact that he repeatedly overtly stated that he was going to make the season a boring pagonging as long as his alliance stayed intact, which was totally screwed up by Wentworth's idol play (and all three of the "witches" managed to survive another week after that as well).
Basically, this is so high on the list just for the sheer satisfaction of Kelley Wentworth completely toppling the Survivor Establishment (Rob has a podcast will probably be dark for a few weeks). We all called her "Wentworthless" at the start of the season, but she's definitely WentWORTHIT now.
I've included a video so you can watch Andrew Savage get blindsided, over and over again. Enjoy!
it was a fantastic play but it's not like some idol plays like parvati and jenn where they didnt know who was getting votes, kelley knew because joe told her which in my opinion doesnt make it one of the best plays ever, but it was a very satisfying boot and idol play from kelley wentworthit
Yeah blueu22 it's only ranked this high because of the satisfaction and the fact that I loathed Andrew so much and he went out in the most orgasmic way possible
