but I'm giving my ex ONE more chance! We were both in Erie last weekend, went up separately and even stayed in different hotels. We went to Erie to participate in the Biggest Loser RunWalk 5k. I first ran into him when we were picking up our registration packet (bib, shirt, bag). He invited me to go to Splash Lagoon with him and his cousin. But, I said no because I wanted him to spend time with her, since he invited her to go. Well, later that night, he came over to my hotel and we had a good time together just talking and yes we kissed. Then he went back to his hotel.
On race day, we started out at the start line together, then he got ahead of me (which was ok with me). But, when I was close to the finish line, who was there? He was! He was there for me to motivate me and push me to the end, and I did it!! My official result was that I finished 25 out of 32 in my age group. I'm actually proud of myself for completing the race, even though I wasn't happy with my time. Yet again, he was really supportive of me. I know I've had my issues with him and it's been like a roller coaster ride, but I think last weekend made us stronger as a couple. We've also been talking to each other every day, which is an improvement. Idk what the future has in store for us, but right now I feel great and curious to see where this goes.
