This will be the first in (hopefully) a series of group game ideas everyone is free to use ripoff, whatever.
This one is based off the game, "Are You a werewolf" http://www.wunderland.com/LooneyLabs/Werewolf/Rules.html
This one will take at least 10 players, though the best game would be around 20 if possible.
Two will play werewolf, One will play Seer, and the rest will be Villagers. The Host will play Moderator. These positions will be chosen at random, and only the Seer will know who is the seer, and only the werewolves will know who are the werewolves. Otherwise act as villagers, so nobody knows who is or who isn't a werewolf or seer.
Each Round:
The Seer can ask the Moderator once per round if one player is or isn't a werewolf.
The Werewolves talk (privately) to each other and kill a Villager (tell the Moderator.)
Everyone (but the Moderator) gets together and chooses who to lynch.
When you're dead, you're eliminated.
Precautions:
If a werewolf is killed and there are more than 5 characters remaining, instead of killing someone, the werewolf will pick someone to turn into a werewolf. If there are 5 or less, then just kill like normal.
Determine a Winner:
This part is tricky here. My suggestion is that when there are 3 or 4 people left, the moderator will ask who is the werewolf, and to the werewolf, who will found out it's her. Each player will privately tell the moderator who they think is the werewolf, or who they think guessed the werewolf's identity correctly.
If werewolf guesses right
1st place werewolf
2nd place villager who guessed correctly
3rd place other villager (if both or none guessed right, choose at random)
If villager guesses right:
1st place that villager
2nd place other villager
3rd place werewolf
If No one guesses right:
1st place werewolf
2nd place villager
3rd place villager that werewolf guessed.
Again, the end result needs some work, but there's something.
