Galu - Brett, Kelly, Russell H., Marisa, Russell S., Liz, John, Monica, Betsy
First, we see Yasmin, Shambo, and Mike discussing the outcome of the last Tribal Council, where Natalie was voted off. They agree that Natalie was trying to desperately save her own skin by targetting Yasmin, so she needed to go. Now the situation seems hopeless for them, since they are outnumbered by the other alliance of 4.
On Galu, Marisa and Liz create an alliance with each other, agreeing to go to the Final 2. Since they both were allied with Russell H., they say they should bring him along and then try to vote him off at the Final Tribal Council.
Meanwhile, Russell H. starts noticing that John is talking a lot with Monica and Kelly. This worries him since it shows John as a strategic player, and Russell concludes that after Brett, John should be the next to go. He subtly mentions this to Marisa, Liz, and Betsy.
When the tribes arrive for what they thought would be the next Reward Challenge, they are greeted with a surprise. Jeff announces for they have been led by the youngest members of their tribe for a while, but now it's time for a change. He requests that Ashley and Brett hand their leadership necklaces to the oldest members of their tribe.
These are Mike of Foa Foa and Betsy of Galu.
Jeff then says that Mike and Betsy will perform their first assignment as leader right now. They will be picking new tribes.
They must pick someone from the other tribe, and each new person picks the next person on the tribe.
Mike picks Russell S. Betsy picks Erik. Russell S. picks Shambo. Erik picks John. Shambo picks Russell H. John picks Mick. Russell H. picks Ashley. Mick picks Liz. Ashley picks Kelly. Liz picks Jaison. Kelly picks Yasmin. Jaison picks Marisa. Yasmin picks Brett. Monica automatically goes to Galu to even the numbers.
New tribes:
Foa Foa - Mike, Russell S., Shambo, Russell H., Ashley, Kelly, Yasmin, Brett
Galu - Betsy, Erik, John, Mick, Liz, Jaison, Marisa, Monica
Jeff then announces that they will partake in their next Immunity Challenge as new tribes immediately. In the end, Galu ends up winning.
Foa Foa then goes back to their tribe camp and ponders the vote. Russell H. knows that he didn't like Kelly and Brett before the switch, but he tries to bargain with them with a former-Galu alliance to vote out Shambo. Even former Foa Foa member Ashley joins in, since all of her allies are now on the other tribe.
As the only person he was originally allied with, Russell H. goes to Russell S. and now offers him a Final Two deal, saying it would be really cool if both Russells were at the end. Russell S. agrees.
Russell H. then talks to Shambo and tells her that Brett is targetting her. Shambo says she can pull in Yasmin and Mike if Russell wants to vote out Brett. They agree.
So it comes down to which alliance Russell H. chooses to honor. Tribal Council comes, and the votes are read:

3rd vote - Brett
4th vote - Shambo
5th vote - Brett
6th vote - Brett
7th vote, and 5th person voted off of Survivor: Samoa...
