After the mutiny and the last Tribal Council, the Galu tribe is more divided than ever, even with just 4 members. Betsy, Liz, and Marisa couldn't agree on a target last night; Betsy ended up voting for Monica while Liz and Marisa voted John, along with Monica. Monica, however, is delighted by this, because it shifts the attention off of her.
On Foa Foa, Russell H. shows his Hidden Immunity Idol to Mike and promises him Final Two. He says that he hopes to win the next Immunity Challenge so Galu can vote off Monica, and then when it comes to the merge, he hopes to temporarily ally with the Galu women in order to get rid of Mick, Erik, Ashley, and Kelly.
At the Reward Challenge, Foa Foa wins again, and Mike sends Russell H., again.
While he is visiting Galu, Russell H. tells Marisa and Liz that he believes this is the last Tribal Council before the merge. He says that the ideal thing to do is to have Galu throw the immunity challenge and get rid of Monica. Marisa then reveals Betsy's blowout the previous Tribal Council, but Russell H. says that Monica still is a better move.
Meanwhile, Monica tries to work her way back into the game. She is unaware of Russell's talk with Marisa and Liz, and she gathers Marisa, Betsy, and Liz, and says they should try very hard to win the next immunity challenge. She says that she has an alliance with Kelly on the other tribe, and she offers the notion of an all-female Final 5. Later, she talks to Liz separately and promises her Final 2.
On Foa Foa, Erik knows he needs one more for his alliance to work, and he tries to get Russell S. Erik asks Russell who he would like the next person voted off to be, and Russell says Ashley. Erik, of course, does not want to vote off his secret girlfriend, but he tells Russell that if they could vote off Russell H. first, then Ashley could go next.
At the Immunity Challenge, Galu tries to win (which shocks Russell H.), but they are still unsuccessful. Foa Foa wins another challenge.
Betsy approaches Marisa and Liz separately and asks each of them if Monica is the next vote. They both confirm that. However, Marisa and Liz talk separately about the notion to get rid of Betsy instead. Liz worries that Betsy is unstable, and she wants to keep Monica after she promised Final 2. Marisa is unsure, and says she would rather get rid of Monica and try to keep their alliance with Russell. However, neither Marisa or Liz wants to draw Purple Rocks, so they need to decide on something.
Tribal Council comes, and the votes are read:
1st vote - Betsy
2nd vote - Monica...
...
...
3rd vote - Betsy
4th vote, and 8th person voted off of Survivor: Samoa...
Betsy.
Jeff then announces that there is NOT going to be a merge the following morning, and now they need to elect a new leader. The three women agree upon Liz.
