Stars 13; Vindication's truth sauce

Feb 14, 2009 by Vindication
Hey everyone. Since I've been evicted; I just thought I'd lay everything on the line, and out in the open. Hopefully it can give you an insight on what went on in the house, at least from my stand-point. Let me say, that this was the best stars game I've been involved with. While people joined the game together, it wasn't dominated by any pre-game alliances. It was refreshing to actually have the room and space to PLAY the game. And despite what some of the other housemates claim, almost everyone in there a very good players. This is a LONG READ; this isn't for the weak or faint. Be aware.
--
Day 1: I enter the house. I enter the house ALONE. I had planned to join with Natalie Corbin, but she didn't get in. Right off the bat; I receive a PM from Kathreya/Marty. Marty, is one hell of a player, but I know what he's doing in the first 5 minutes of the game. Marty, raises suspicions of Phanne and Alex, and I immediately know they're going to be targeted. After taking a long look of the cast; a smaller version of the misfits were in the house. At this point, I believe it to be Kathreya, Brian Mertz, Surs, Jeffypop, and Conceite. I knew it wasn't going to be hard for them to gather numbers; I'm pm'ed by Jeffy pop, in which I confirm this said alliance, and I'm brought in with them almost forcefully. I'm not up for this, and I PM Alex and Alex pm's phanne about everything I'm doing. I wanted on their side, ASAP. The house circulates kathreya, and jeffypop; I try to sway jeffypop off the noms, but I learn that it isn't worth outing myself. They want him out.
--
Day 2: Kathreya/Marty and Jeffypop are nominated, and Marty goes home. Should we be in a different house setting, I probably actually would've worked with Marty. Anyways, I can't remember what the next noms the house was planning, but I knew they were gunning for Phanne and Alex again. I manage to be pulled between two sides of the house, and I use this to my advantage. I know that Alex doesn't trust me fully, but it's building. I do my best to get some votes together, but he and Jeffypop goes up with the house split. Jeffypop leaves.
--
Day 3: I think it was day 3 in which I was brought into yet another alliance. Although, I was only really working along side Soccertrs. Who, is also working with the entire house it seems. Alex beings to trust me more and I begin to chat with Phanne. Somewhere down the road, Phanne tells me Emma and Aleegeeter are after her, this soon becomes the new nomination choice popular with the numbers. At this time, I was dealing with smaller numbers through other housemates though, and I was believed to be voting with them. This is why conceite insists, I followed whatever I was told. I am however with Alex and Phanne, and I vote this way. Alegeeter and Phanne go up, split vote. Aleegeeter leaves.
--
Day 4: Next noms roll around, and I do admit since I'm coming clean. A few names flew around with made mentions of Conceite and Brian, I nodded my head to them. I don't know where the house thought I voted that way though. Again, I can't remember who I nominated but I know I went with Conceite, because he was unpredictable as hell. The day before, I was just waiting to get called out for something I might've had no part of, as I felt like he was big on throwing names out with little proof. I don't want attention on me; he also wasn't helping me out much. Emma's side wanted surs/alex up, I believe. They got surs, but he survived.
--
Day 5: Emma and Phanne wage war with each-other. I see the numbers slowly crumbling, and I do my best to assemble whoever I can, so I can roll off whatever was to happen in the house--the numbers went back and forth every day. The day before, was the first time I talked to Brian Mertz I believe, who asked me what side of the house I was on, between Emma and Phanne, we both play the diplomats, that are playing in between. Still, the heart of our conversations were true, we were on the outside, and neither side could get too strong or we'd be up eventually. I ended up nomming with my side; Emma and Malik, If I do recall. The other side wanted Phanne and Alex up. I tell Phanne I'm doing my best to help her out, she didn't really trust me. I PM surs for the first time in the game, and he drops a bombshell. Surs wants EXACTLY what I want from the game, bam we get in together and devise a plan to flip the house. We pick up 2 and a half votes from the other side, and we manage to get Emma on the block from their side, Phanne still went up, because two voters were playing both sides.
--
Day 6: Phanne leaves, and me and Surs are set back. I find out he's in with Alex, and I automatically piece in Brian Mertz into the picture. With a bit of thinking, it's clear who exactly is on which side, and who's floating in between. Surs tells me that there's a sub-alliance, inside the alliance, waiting to take the advantage. So what do me and Surs do? We use it to OUR advantage, while Alex flirts with the idea that if we get the floaters to turn on each-other, we capitalize on the sub alliances greed, and we get both Malik and Tom up. We weren't going after the main dogs; we were trying to weaken the numbers. How many of you got that?
--
Day 7: Through the course of the game, I had worked with Hexylia. However, he could never pick aside. We were deadlocked with numbers, and we NEEDED Emma out. I approached soccer with the idea; it was clear she was the ring leader, and we went with it. I went to hexy, but he/she was only willing to go half way on it. Surs somehow manages to get a vote out of Tom (LMFAO) and they go up. Noel Vs. Emma. Bam, emma leaves.
--
Day 8: We have the numbers; and now we had to start making the cuts. Hexy, was nominated for floating in between, and we couldn't trust him/her. He was aligned with Noel, who was aligned with Emma. Noel did a good job at hiding it though, because we talked, and she leaked information to her side, however I caught onto this a few days before all this. We nominated hexy/mets. Later in the night, they both charge at me like a bats out of hell. I felt bad for hexy, but as for mets, I simply shrug him off. I wasn't aligned with him, and he needed to go. Mets hexy go up, hexy leaves. :(
--
Day 9: Surs tells me the next noms come down between Soccer and Tom. Tom was so floppy on the house, that I figured it would be stupid to keep him around any longer. Soccer however, had been caught working both sides of the house, but I felt as if I was his main alliance, and that he wouldn't try to screw me as long as I could be an asset to him, and his game. I put my neck on the line for soccer, and took out his knife. You seriously want to claim this kid has no game? Your stupid. He knows he's next, and he takes the chance when he see's it. The other side is nomming Alex/soccer. We're nomming Noel/Tom. Soccer, nominates Alex and Noel saving his own ass. Trust me, this kid knew what he was doing the entire game avoiding the block the way he did, and I respect him for it, even though it resulted in the elimination of Alex who was a huge part of our alliance. We're pissed.
--
Day 10: It's me, mertz, surs Vs. Noel, mets, Tom and Soccer assumes his role as one of the best floaters I've seen yet. I don't let soccer onto my displeasure with him, and we continue to flesh out nomination choices. Neither side is happy with him, because he received a vote from either Noel, mets, and or Tom. We nominated Soccer/Mets, and Mets sends soccer home.
--
Day 11: The numbers have cracked even, house wise. Soccer; still not letting played both sides AGAIN. He had nominated Brian Mertz, and Tom. God bless him, because Brian Mertz would send Tom home with the biggest margin of the season. Tom, gains respect in my eyes though, he took his elimination like a man, and he's a mello dude. He played a decent game. We grab full control of the house, after Tom leaves. Noel, believes she played the game well because she escaped the block, as Surs/mets went up due to a split vote. I'm sorry, but the fact that you have high karma is what save your ass, nothing else.
--
Day 12: My favorite day. Me, mertz, and Surs sharing the spoils of our amazing game play. I'm friends with Noel, and still am, so I think she sent Mets over to work me for my vote. My god was this hilarious. I'm making my own blog about this hilarious blooper. In short, Mets tries everything in the book to try to get me to flip. Noel wants to avoid the block at all costs, because she doesn't want to have to fight the flavor card. Mets tries to outsmart me, and I have fun absolutely making him scramble trying to get me to sway. He tells me that Brian Mertz and Surs will nominate me against, Noel should he leave. I reply with ''And?''. This was the entire plan, and they couldn't do anything to stop it.
--
Day 13: Mets leaves, surs stays. Hooray! I'm up against Noel, as per planned. Infact, I didn't have to be up right now. Noel and mets, both nominated surs and brian hoping that I'd flip sides, all I had to do is nominate surs and Brian, and one of them would've been on the block. But this was our chance of getting the final three together. These guys helped me over enormously; and there was no way in hell, I was going to fuck them over. I nominated mets and noel, even while mets left. Did I expect to beat noel? Not really, but if there was one person to do it out of us three, it's me. And I went for it.
--
Day 14: I'm sent home; because Noel pretty much as tengaged down on their knees. I deserved this game. Am I pissed? Bitter? It's a game. You win, and you lose. But just let it be known, that you eliminated someone who actually played the game. Don't be fooled by what Noel claims as game play. We flipped their numbers, and the only way she survive is getting people who were already aligned with her to save her ass. She was saved twice based on karma scores. I, surs, and Brian made no attempts to hide our alliance yet they still couldn't stop us in the open. Surs and Brian played this game. Noel had her support. Period. Now, go save your queen.

Karma saves you on ties with the eviction vote, I believe.  The algo breaks ties when it comes to the noms (hence the neg wars that ensued).

Meh, it didn't make much sense. Mertz should've been up against mets in that case.

I still think it was karma, TBH.

Vindication, you're honestly amazing.  I have some truth sauce to reveal later, can't now.  Have to return the Mexican :)

I cant wait to hear Brains truth sauce... cuz he worked with me a little too.
Also, I wasn't the ringleader :( We all gave input together, however Tom was a loose cannon and never voted with either side. Soccer on the other hand, I had saved 4 times in a game and sent me pm after me one said "Ur the ony person I trust in this house... 200%, its travis + emily" Then when alegeeter left he was PISSED and trying to find someone else to work with him.  He wasnt a good game player, I think he is a little dense and doesnt understand the game, so he did what people told him.  He did not have strategy.
The quite boys were dangerous... let this be a lesson in the stars to come.  Tom, Soccer, Mets, Hexy, Vindication, Brian were all very quiet and all dangerous. Just because ppl know how to verbalize their thoughts and feelings do not make them a ringleader.  Alegeeter, Me, Noel, Phanne, Surs, Kathreya ALL were accused of being ringleaders when in reality we are the ones with major personality :)
Anyway all in all... good job vindication, you beat me and beat your personal record... kudos :)

It's all good, everyone. The one thing that I loved about the cast is that everyone saw it as a game, and there wasn't too many hard feelings about it. A mature house setting, in which has given me the best game thus far. I can now take a break off playing games, because I've been satisfied with this one.

Emily was not the ringleader!!
Sent by Alegeeter,Feb 15, 2009
Okay, so riddle me this. She isn't the ring leader, but she's the most vocal of her side. Publicaly, she's the ring leader to those her voice is heard by. There was TWO sides to the house, and she made it appear as she was leading such by being so vocal.
Sent by Vindication,Feb 15, 2009
And emma, I have no personality? I don't have a FAKE personality, but to insinuate that I'm quiet and deadly in general... is just false. I'm outted/targetted 90% of the time, because I'm vocal. I had to adapt to the house, so I kept my input to a mininum.
