Wrong with Davonne & Zakiyah wanting two black women in the finals. I swear these days people get upset that they say something like that, but don't get mad that Big Brother has only had a few black people playing Big Brother together. I'm sorry but you can't tell me the cast represents real life, because there's not many places in America where there's a shortage of African-American people, so only 2 people at most every season is definitely what's racist.
Where were all of you when Jodi, the only black girl on her season, was the first fucking exit within 15 fucking minutes? #BB18
Blog Pic?
Also, yeah Im like so annoyed with people trying to there's a problem with those two working together. Jozea who I think has some african-american in him was voted out by BOTH of them, so i don't think it's a thing about race at all.
Having two people per season is the correct number if we're looking for accurate representation by population, Kort. Then one or two mixed people and one yellow/brown person with the rest being white.
Loopspeare but the point I'm making is, why can't they give us 3-4 African American people? Why only 2? Especially in casts where it features 16 people, what harm is it by diversifying the cast?
teamjacz my blog pic isn't me lol if that's what your asking. And yeah, I don't think either of them are like "black supremacy" they just want to work together and make a first.
loopspeare African-American is a race though...one that isn't represented much on Big Brother. As I said, having a cast of 16 and only 3 of them being minorities speaks to what the general public thinks.
Diversity would be increased with more black people, because now we aren't having the top 10 be an all-white affair. And I think seeing 3-4 black people would increase diversity so whatever your trying to argue you can stop.
More wouldn't equal better quality however...I mean typically there is also only one gay person a season on average who typically hits almost every stereotype there is...as for the 2 wanting to reach finals...it's nothing wrong with it...anyone that takes offense to it but not to guys or 2 girlsa king a all guy or all girl pact might wanna just admit they may actually be racist
African-American is a mixed-race. You probably mean "African" or "black." Maybe even "negroid" would tickle your fancy. To be racially American is to be indigenous to the Americas, and that's not black, Kort. Want more diversity? More races. Diversity =/= less white people. A full black cast is as racially diverse as a full white cast is. Also, how are only three minorities? Da'vonne, Zakiya, Jozea, Glenn, Bridgette.
What would you prefer, ToriKelley? "Oriental?" I heard that that's racist, so probably not. Maybe mongoloid? If you can find a better term, then hit me up.
Yea the thing I find so dull about it is they give devinne so much camera time and all she do is cry like a little kid if I wanted to hear people complain about their environment I would watch survivor now seriously all u devinne supporters stfu cause that dumb broad is moretrash than jJosepea
kort they have been casting an accurate depiction of the demographic of the united states. You complaining about it is more racist then anything the casting crew has been doing.
Sackeshi as a matter of fact I see them just as often as I see black people, but sometimes even more.
In BB18 where there are only 2 blacks, representing the Hispanic community is: Bronte, Glenn, Jozea & Victor so lol show me where? No one said they weren't underrepresented but make your OWN blog post about that. That's not relevant to this discussion because we are talking strictly about blacks being underrepresented.
You didn't answer my question, ToriKelley. Instead, you went onto insult me. It shows your lack of argumentation here. Yellow is more specific because it refers to East Asian countries with predominantly yellow people. Many people from those countries DO use the term yellow, so don't come on at me and call me racist. The term "Asian" refers to ALL OF ASIA, including Russia (white people) and India (brown people), so yes, yellow is WAY more specific.
Black people are not under represented this season, Kort. They're spot on with the number of black people this season.
