Digital Brother Contestant Post #3

Oct 10, 2008 by smrtrtl25
So everyone is now in the "house!" Unfortunately, Darren did not make the cut (and nor did William94 for excessive spamming), but instead of 5 new housemates, we got six! And this game will be going by so quickly. 2 weeks to evict 14 housemates? The days will be flying by very quickly.
Anyways, so some of us have created "rooms" to develop a stronger "house." Let's give it up for imagination! I really like how people have given way to creativity, but I hope people will eventually do even more so, maybe even kind of role play (ie *pulls up a chair*, *runs around screaming in circles*, *makes some chicken pot pie*). Not only would this be more enjoyable to play, but also more enjoyable to read.
I don't know when the first nominations will occur, but I hope it won't be too soon. And I really hope people haven't been conversing by private mail to develop alliances.
1. alliances are a terrible way to play this game as it demonstrates one's goal/greed of winning, as opposed to getting to know some interesting people
2. viewers cannot read private messages, so they lose the fun of being out on the secret and who is aligned with who
3. The game gets too involved in backstabbing and no longer becomes about developing/morphing relationships.
But I guess these are the reasons why some people watch/like Big Brother. These are just not my style. If it turns into this sort of game (a game like US BB), then I fear my commitment/enthusiasm. Well, hope for the best.
